Start of 901...panel opens on Luffy's pupils, it zooms out over a few panels to show the sharingan has activated in his eyes, zooms out panel by panel to reveal that it's just after he popped Snakeman, the entire thing has been his haki evolving to see the future much clearer than Katakuri...

Re-read the manga start to finish recently and Luffy's healing quickly & after eating has pretty much always been a thing.
