Not yet, we have seen him in action against titan twice only (one chapter introduces him, one fight against Annie). But if Levi dies, I don't know how the team would feel.. Eren in particular.

Who knows, but yea, someone need to die.. Isayama won't go easy in man-to-man fight, it should be as cruel as man-to-titan fight.
