Started reading Baki Dou, a sequel to Baki:Son of Ogre. Son of Ogre had a bad ending, but I'm still curious to see what direction this installment of the franchise will take.

Read the first few chapters of Jigoku Koi Sutefu. It's cute, kind of funny, and easy to read.

Volume 14, the final volume, is out. I have to say, I really wasn't feeling that final battle with the mass swarm of animals. Thematically though, it did the series justice and ended just about as good as it possibly could while dealing with those subjects. And I loved the 7 years later...

Just finished Doubutsu no Kuni. Great series. Looking forward to Makoto Raiku's next work.

I thought those human centipedes were just hallucinations brought on by his turning into a zombie. Kind of like how we saw some weird imagery from Hiromi's point of view. Pretty sure he was French.

I do this too. Unfortunately for me, most of the covers that catch my eye are neither licensed or scanlated. Because of that, I have a love/hate relationship with this thread and the color page thread :'(

I read Nijigahara Holograph since Fantagraphics released it in English. I found it to be kind of unsettling, but very compelling as well.

I'd love for Doubutsu no Kuni to win, but I won't get my hopes up.

The first volume of One Piece from 15 years ago is still in print and has at least 100 printings. One Piece will probably still be running 10 years from now, so I think it is a safe bet that there will be at least a few people looking for volume 73 10 years from now if people are still buying...

Just read Insufficient Direction, about Hideaki Anno and Moyoco Anno's married life. It was pretty funny, though too much depended on the otaku cultural references. EDIT: I also just finished Thermae Romae. Such a fun series. I really loved it.
