this is what I always thought as well. Even if the item was released years ago if you made a purchase this year it would count towards this year sales (like we don't have a separate manga chart for items released this year only but for series as a whole)

that's not possible since it's digital performance is pretty bad. I checked the second volume since it was released at the same time with HQ and it struggled to stay it top 100 for less than 3 weeks on Amazon and even less on itunes and it was mostly in the bottom of the ranking.I doubt on...

but the numbers came from Oricon yearly sales who counts copies sold not even the print number. And 3.3 million copies is a lot to be off

how did they count this cuz my math is a bit different with this missing a few millions manga sales : 2056211(2013) + 8283709(2014) + 6531508(2015) + 6474393(2016) + 3086097(first half 2017) = 26431919 confirmed copies sold . In 2012 they probably sold around 300k so close to 27 million just...
