Loving the allusions in this chapter. On ch. 200 we get a color page showing the fates of each protagonist, with those on the left coming out alive while those on the right have passed on. Notice how Tanjiro, while standing on the dying side, is still facing Nezuko, while Nezuko is also facing...

He said it was taking time to decompose the drug inside him (ch. 197). My guess is that in the end he did manage to decompose it but it was already too late for him, so he transfused his purified blood into Tanjiro. As for the means he used to decompose the effects of the drug, let's not forget...

It was an open question, thus the separate paragraph. They won't work as long as Muzan's will is stronger than Tanjiro's. If Tanjiro takes control even for an instant the drug will kick in for a few seconds and that'll be the chance they need to kill him since his demon powers and regeneration...

He died without ever seeing Nezuko. His corpse was possessed and corrupted into a demon. Now he is trying to kill everyone he loved. He's making Nezuko cry. His friends are going to end up killing him. And Nezuko will cry even more. It's a nightmare alright, a living nightmare.

We don't know if the drug will turn him back to a human though, we should bear in mind that Tanjiro has all of Muzan's blood in him now. It's very possible that the drug will only be able to return Tanjiro to his human senses for a few seconds, enough to bid his farewells to everyone and ask...

There's not gonna be a next arc, I'm pretty much confident about that. KNY should've ended at ch. 200 with a few color pages showing Tanjiro's farewell and the future he entrusted to Nezuko and their friends. This is probably what's been happening now, except we're getting a few more chapters...

All forcible means to stop demon Tanjiro are crossed out atm. They can't turn him back to a human because they already tried the drug on Muzan and it didn't work. Sunlight doesn't work on him and that likely implies nichirin blades won't work either. The only option I see is the Akaza suicide...

Let's be realistic, demon Tanjiro won't be defeated by a few remaining wounded demon slayers, but he won't get the time needed to unlock and master his full demon powers to cause a total massacre either. At best he'll be thrashing at anything that moves for 1 or 2 chapters, then Nezuko comes in...

If it didn't work on Muzan it won't work on Tanjiro either. That said, the demon slayers don't have a snowball's chance in hell of defeating demon Tanjiro. He's neither vulnerable to the sun like Muzan was nor weakened / aged like Muzan was... and Muzan with every handicap still beat the ****...
