Actually for both Shiraishi and Jiro, the ball did fly pass them but towards the side where both players hadn't expected it to go. How Shiraishi countered Fuji's Disappearing serve is actually very do able, but is rarely done. Shiraishi's step and turn around shot was done in a real tennis...

The stat sheets may not tell us that Mountain Storm is more dangerous than the 108th Hadokyu, but Gin did. Gin stated during Ryoma and Kintaro's one point match that Mountain Storm is more dangerous than his 108th Hadokyu.

Sai, this part actually has been bothering me a bit, but are sure you typed in Oni's birthday right? During his interview in volume 1 of Pair Puri, he said he was born on October 26th, not the 27th.

I think Hardy meant he wanted to see the table of contents listing the profiles in the fanbook. ~~~ Sorry Hardy!

I don't think he's trying to further stereotype. He probably just bought into it like most other East Asians. There's also the fact that Japan is known for having some of the world's worst tennis players so... he might be trying to make it seem as if Japanese players are just as good as the rest...

Actually, it should be five months since Japanese schools start in April and the national tournament was held in August. But I'm guessing Tezuka is only counting the amount of time they've been competing in the tournaments.

I know we really only care about knowing the mange, but I thought this might be interesting for everyone know. And for the time being, I'll just keep 2008 as the current series year for the wiki timeline. One of the filler episodes, Episode 134- My Prince, proves that the anime universe takes...

Well, in the PairPuri interviews Irie only said he thought his height was 178 cm and his weight 66kg. He didn't know for sure, so this is just Konomi correcting Irie. Currently, I have the series timeline on the wikia listing 2008 as the current year, even though Fuji technically shouldn't...

Actually, one of the PairPuri Volumes confirmed that both Suzuki and Washio went to Shishigaku during middle school. I don't remember which one, but Chitose says that his upperclassmen from Shishigaku treated him to horse sashimi sometime before the other half of the middle schoolers returned to...

I guess they do allow him to play with two racquets. I don't know about the PoT universe, but in real life that would be illegal in both doubles and singles.

Are you absolutely sure? SPoT messed on Kaji's year too when he was introduced in the manga by calling him a middle schooler.

Actually, Seigaku is an escalator school. In Genius 160, there are several students saying that Tezuka was going to a hospital in Kyushu that is near their university. Also in Genius 19 on the school sign behind Kirihara states that Seigaku is the middle school department.
