But even the Dark Matter Strongest Spear is lowkey OP. It is noted to be like "strongest attack" that broke Tokugawa's "strongest defense" black hole.

I think Medanore will have something more.

Or maybe he will use these 2 abilities the better way in second and third set.

I like how to "Time Stop" we had to write Fuji painfully getting aced over 100 times to get the feel of it then explain that he's reacting on instinct over letting his brain process what's going on.



Then Medanore just actually has reality warping super powers. Im hoping it will be explained, even if flimsily. Like Volk can time loop because your body fails to recognize that you're losing so bad that it actually hypnotizes themselves. Medanore so far can just no cost do that.

Im less saying that the ability is broken. And more bemoaning that we don't get abilities explained anymore. Feels like a lost of Japan vs Spain is like that. Seda's rainbow, Mares' sniper shots, Julio and Silva's 4 resonances and Now Medanore's Za Warudo and Dark Matter. Id even take pseudo science explanations but we get nothing.

Also Tokugawa can only stop Za Warudo by abusing his new Kijin and Black Hole. He has just the right counter. In theory Byoudin and Volk, our current top 2 in the verse, should have no counter to it.

This is what I mean.

Sure, you can say "tier diff" and say Byoudonin and Volk can handle it. But in theory, who really beat a time stop?

I bet Kintarou could do something because his reaction time is one of the best, if not, the best in Japan.

Medanore can mess with you during Time Stop (albeit, from what we saw, not a whole lot) but you can still react.

I think players with stupid speed like the current Kin and Volk can stand a good chance here (hell, Kirihara speed blitzed past Bismarck-Sieg's Howling). Also, someone like Byoudouin attacks with so many patterns that it could directly counter Time Stop.

I want to see more of Dark Matter before I comment on that, though. We also haven't really seen an explanation as to why Medanore can train with Ryoga with no issues.

So, I think that Dark Matter will have more relevance next chapter.

During time stop, is Medanore the only one who can move?

Or Antonio can too? We didnt see him in that scene right?

Even Wirbel Traufe which is probably one of the strongest shot in the series get stop cold by black hole, so it's probably accurate.

Ok, guys after it is all and done.

Did Spain fail,met, or exceed your expectations?

That depends on what aspects you are talking about

S3:

Player: Romeo surpass my expectations. I was expecting someone around Atobe level, instead we get someone who is hinted to G5 level along with. I also enjoy getting the confirmation that Tezuka was on par with Romeo as well..

Match: The match was good and fun to read.

D2:

Player: Mares meet my expectation. I know there got to be someone that can hold down Kintarou.
Seda surpass my expectation by probably the biggest margin. Foreign MS normally is pretty bad outside of Prince. Instead, Seda was able to COMPLETELY dominated Kintarou+Ohmagari that Kintarou that was already a little stronger than the time they beat Tanegashima+Shiraishi pair by a pretty far margin game wise at the end of the match. Seda almost won the whole set by himself if not for Kintarou upgrade.

Match: Good match that shows both side pretty well. Ohmagari was disappointing though.

D1:

Player: All of them exceed my expectation. I was expecting Niou/Duke vs Pro pair to be peak of tournament doubles.

Match: Probably one of the best double match in the U-17. We haven't had this kind of match for a while. This is what I wish Golden Pair vs Champion pair could have been.

S1: He meet my expectation. We all know he is going to be one of the strongest player.

Match: The MOST disappointing match of the final. The power level is there, but so many points and games are skip. It sucks.

S2:
Player: Ryoga is strong. I also like how well Ryoga did against Ryoma before devour kick in because it justify Fuji/Prince and French team tier.

Match: A lot of good throwback, creative way of spamming. It is a good match. I doesn't reach Ryoma best match like Ryoma vs Sanada/Ryoma vs Atobe for me but that is ok.
