I couldn’t help it. I was gonna savor this last chapter and wait for scans. Hisoka’s interaction went down very similar to how I thought it would. Wish I predicted before chap came out

No confirmation from Hisoka himself and I think the constant use of Zetsu was probably enough to notice him but I am glad the Nen Beast itself was mentioned. It is likely not invisible to others.

Yep, I guess Tserri will spend the remaining time polishing his skill.
Now I understand why there are still 6 weeks left. I don't think will see him anytime soon.

Tserri is clearly a genius but if I'm not mistaken it took Gon a couple of months (minus the recovery) to master all the nen concepts.

Looking forward to seeing what's happening in lower tiers.

This interaction was perfect. I just love how he toys with him. I would've liked a little more humiliation, but I'll take any Hisoka action I can get. Wonder if Hisoka lost interest after seeing the nen beast, mistook it for a guardian nen beast, whose existence he knows about and what it entails, and left.

Tserri seems to have regained his bearings fairly quickly though, right after being confronted with certain death. As much as it pains me to admit it, he's something else.

It needs to be a fair bit shorter than that if he wants to use this against mid to high level nen users. As in hisoka can't feed tserric's throat a bunch of sharp cards in under a second. He's been focusing on his ability so much that he just doesn't get the basics of nen combat.

Ah, that's at least more realistic in terms of what it would take to make the ability viable for combat. Though getting to that point perhaps is still unrealistic. against someone who matches him in skill. The most basic of nen combat is to cover your body with nen and adjust the amount in a given part of the body for defense or offense. That alone takes substantial training even when you are as gifted as gon and killua. Or prince tserrich whom I assume is at least as talented as either of them. But him getting to the point where he can go from zetsu to ryo in the middle of combat sounds... Absurd. Silly even. Let alone that even if he can do something during training it's still not the same as doing it repeatedly while in combat. And that doesn't even factor that tserric has not run into an obvious drawback to his ability. Specialization abilities I suppose are weird enough when it comes to their cost and needing to be in zetsu is dangerous enough but since he is still a newby when it comes to it and nen it's entirely possible there are more drawbacks to it he simply hasn't stumbled into yet. As an extra, we know there's skill levels to zetsu so we don't know if tserric improving his zetsu quality would further improve his ability. I am curious if using In would provide further advantages for tserric.

Overall I just don't get the impression that tserric actually understands the meta of nen combat. In high level combat he'd go from ken+ ryu, to zetsu, to ken+ ryu in a fraction of a second to be able to utilize his ability in the middle of combat. I wouldn't be surprised if the way he actually dies is trying to actually do this only for him to realize every possible future for him is to die within a second and he can't possible react fast enough to do anything about it.

Gon learned Zetsu by himself but for the advanced ones he was taught by Wing and Biscuit. Hisoka is the one who showed him In.
