And Biblo wants Robin, Saul and Chopper to open that chest right away, someone has a theory about what we're about to discovery? I didn't have a glimpse.
My theory is that Oda gets off every time someone comes up with a random-ass theory based on his most random teases.

Like, dude... :emobirb
We don't need theory, we need answers.

Chapter 1189:
- Robin: Chopper come with me

Chapter 1191:
- Biblo: "hooh hooh"
- Chopper: "eeeeh?!"

Chapter 1193:
- Biblo:"hooh hooh"
- omg a big-ass box.

Chapter 1196:
- Biblo: "hoo hoo hoo"
- Chopper: "it says the key is in this room"

Chapter 1201:
Readers:

Chapter 1205
*Opens the chest*
- everyone : *gasps*
- Biblo : "hooooh..."
- Chopper : *gasps harder* "EEEEEEEEEEH?!"

Chapter 1210:
Oda, the master teaser and professional blue-baller finally decides to deliver. The delivery:

*Switches back to tired Luffy*

So Loki give a hint about how to defeat an GK but Zoro still lack aCoC to break through that heart, isn't just simple iron heart after all... Can Sanji do something with killinghan that can break the heart too? Burn it until it meltdown? It's a possibility.

I don't see anything so strange about Luffy noticing something different after almost losing G5 - the panel show a interrogation but that means nothing at all.

And Biblo wants Robin, Saul and Chopper to open that chest right away, someone has a theory about what we're about to discovery? I didn't have a glimpse.
I to didnt saw anything weird with g5 - but luffy for sure is evolving im real time !

We had a lot of other interesting parts like - Loki reaction to the damage of they combo attack ! Looks like Luffy can amplifier other powers while being the catalyst, he did it to in egghead ..would be a good counterpart to Imu who give parts of his power to other

And wtf - Zoro is just awesome !

I think I cannot comprehend the blurriness of the reddit translation but if history is any clue or guess, Luffy will feel like he is dying. That was what happened on the rooftop with his duel with Kaido. The drums of liberation heartbeat can come back.

I didn't bother reading the rest. Will wait for high res but I do have a few thoughts on Zoro's and Sanji's battles.

One of which is, is CoC really required to defeat these guys? It just seems like CoC is the answer here because it is what gives the attack more oomph to destroy the iron heart. But could we not have more oomph without a "stronger punch"? What I am saying is sure, Zoro is probably going to merc Sommers with a direct blow. Sanji though? All roads seem to lean towards him unlocking CoC. Maybe he might. But I think it would be way more interesting to see Sanji generate so much heat that A. He vaporizes ZaZa with his kicks and B. He melts the heart with the kick. Sure CoC can play a role here but if Oda sidelined the CoC and based it on a higher level of skill aka heat generation, it would vibe with the audience in a much better tone.

Welp, guess Sommers may be first to fall once Zoro will figure out how to coat his sword in conqueror. And it seems like he's just one step from learning this. Also since Sommers didn't shrug off this cut (in meaning that it still hurt him A LOT) even though it failed to kill him Zoro still did well. Fact that Zoro almost killed Sommers in just one hit is even more hilarious after his monologue. Sommers was talking and talking about how terrifying is his power and how much suffering it will cause to Zoro only to be almost taken out at first try and realising with tears in his eyes that "Zoro is bad news".

Btw, after everyone noticed the damage caused by Luffy and Lokis combo it feels like Loki grew bit of respect toward our rubbery hero. Loki even agreed with something Luffy said and kinda show some concern about his state, even though he kinda laughed it off to keep his tough guy persona. Ehhh, it pains me that we will have to wait through break to possibly see Lokis hybrid form. I really hope that after all this wait it will be something mind blowing. Kinda like Loki itself after years of imagining him as huge heartbroken silly looking man. It made people understand (me included) why Lola refused him but also like NOT understand? I mean he's GINORMOUS but dang, he's also hot.

Bit disappointing that even now sommers looks like a joke next to zoro. I suppose the situation is that even though zoro has been told he has conquerors Haki he hasn't actually figured out he has been using it with his king of hell attacks. So we are basically watching zoro overthink using conquerors Haki which is the main reason he can't figure it out.

Yeah man, it's really weird, right? The last time we saw it, both Killingham and Sommers looked like they had our guys in a tough spot. But now Killingham is rocking the white clouds and Sanji's hitting him like whatever.
And yeah. Zoro's really thinking about how to coat himself in Conq... Kinda wish he could recall that Kaido thought he had it with Asura.
I really do wonder how exactly Zoro views Asura. I'm just curious if he has a thought on why he shouldn't try using it here.
Looking at the page again, there wasn't even the conq lightning.
You're right that he seems to be overthinking it.
------------

Also. Usopp. Apparently Usopp has a plan. Usopp, please, shoot super hot sauce into Imu's mouth. Please. You're the only one who can.

Well, why is it weird? The Strawhats are just that strong now. If Zorro and Sanji struggle to much here, then people will say that Luffy and his crew shouldn't be an Emperor crew. The biggest struggle Zorro is having is how to actually use Conqueror's and Sanji actually has to figure out how to awaken it mid-fight. Plus they look ragged and bloody, it clearly wasn't that easy, we saw only a bit of each one's fight till now, newx chapters will probably focus on each one of their battles.

I wonder if Sanji's also know about the heart... also i want to MAKE SURE ONCE AND FOR ALL-- all the GKS have it.. and is not just a "Sommer's thing" ,, i guess everyone have it and it is the key to infinite regen ...
Seems he does know, this chapter we can see him hit Killingham right on his chest, I hope Sanji flame can melt the iron heart.

Robin tried to cock block us from getting epic lore. Bilbo shut that shit down right away
Robin probably doesnt know that chest might contain something that can affect the battle, Bilbo just said like "open the goddamn chest"

The Aftermath of that Thor Bullet was kool, Luffy’s stamina with Nika is about to be solved by Bilbo I predict. Finally Loki’s hybrid, should be epic. Ok God Knights have Steel hearts, only damaged by ACoC. 🤷🏿‍♂️ ok, but theses Omen Buff’s & Weapon powers ups, just became kinda ass. Zoro & Sanji don’t seem to be outclassed, at best The God knights seem almost equal but immortal, as to their only edge….

Yeah, I can try to break down my thoughts.
It's weird in terms of chapter to chapter momentum. Zoro got knocked onto his butt, and Sanji pushed into a wall because of the black power-up, indicating the power-up was a bit more troublesome. But now, without any panels in between, its gone back to the dynamic before the Imu power-up, with the added bonus of Killingham not having the black clouds.

It's weird in terms of execution.
Go back to ch 1189 and where we left off there, with the exposition of these powerful weapons and Zoro on his butt, and look at now, where nothing has really changed, and you can see something has shifted. The dire straits were just wiped away. These power-ups that got made to look like they'd be the challenge factor have had their momentum extinguished, with no real change from either Zoro or Sanji. Again, ch 1189 has Zoro clashing, haki bolts flying and STILL getting blown back.

For Killingham, you dont think its weird he's drawn with white clouds now?

As it stands, the power-up has somehow amounted to nothing. Sommers is the joke he was before the power up, with no crystalized growth coming from either Sanji or Zoro.
If Zoro is trying stuff out and failing and still pulling off a complete 180 to 1189 where King of Hell got matched, it's weird.

And, on another note, I think this is a problem with Oda, but while Zoro is here, leisurely staring at his sword while Sommers is freaking out next to him and open to attacks, Luffy is fighting his heart out begging for more time. It's kind of just offputting.
Zoro's fight does not have the relentlessness of Luffy's right now. But again, I think that's just a feature of Oda's style so I cant really complain about that bit.

Really? where did it say anything about.pluton be deep into wano other than To law? and justt cause he was there.

Refer.me to that please..

Also She is still an Ice wall.. nothing redeem her from the rest.. this chapter proof she was about doing the same..

Getting a little tired of such " Only i can read so i decide what to tell or not " Attitude..

The amount of bitchy attitude she is collecting is astrnomical.
As they already said to you, it was in chapter 1056 (she discovered it in 1055), that's the panel:

Bitchy Robin vanished after Enies Lobby, that's a fact.

another magazine break? and just one before an Oda break? as expected.
the monster trio still dont seem to take the gods knight fully seriously, only seeing this as exercise to evolve. Granted teh Knights are not meant to be a threat, the threat here is Imu. and Luffy still is being out of stamina as usual while bad guys are not. And of course another tease of what is a hybrid form.
but at least we are starting to get to the monster trio, hoepfully this go fast
and both get true conquerer haki (something tells me though Sanjis chapter will be longer then Zoros).

Well, we barely saw any of their fights so far, obviously at the start Zorro and Sanji had to look like they were in trouble, since we just got the Gods Knights powered up and with super weapons...but again, Zorro and Sanji are just that strong, they weren't going to be beaten just like that. Plus, Zorro was trapped and Sanji didn't really seem like he was winning, Killingham just started his villain speech about "Haha, they stoopid for trusting you" and then gets kicked once, doesn't exactly seem like Sanji beat him here. That he is drawn with white clouds doesn't really tell me anything, for all I know it's a coloring mistake. Also, come on, Sommers was a joke since he appeared, his whole point this arc (and at God Valley) was to see this overdramatic evil ass get beaten up by everyone, I never thought Zorro was in any trouble even with Imu's powerup.

But then again, that is just how I see things. I will wait for the chapters that actually focus on their fightsd, to see how they go. To me, the hardest parts about their fights is stopind the Gods Knights regen with Counquerors, which Zorro has almost managed. Sanji will most likely get there too, especially now that the giants are helping with Zaza.

Watching Zoro speed up his understanding of Coc in real-time is pretty amazing. I had a thought that flashed along the lines of Zoro possibly being POTENTIALLY stronger than Luffy. We witnessed an entire arc dedicated to Luffy learning what Zoro had a few seconds to think about and immediately apply. He'll clearly master it once he pierces the heart (hence why he missed those of you thinking the coating of CoC isn't enough). Luffy's crew is always calling him a duffus, and in these moments you realize, comparatively speaking, it's true headspace-wise.

I would also like to point out that this is clearly the turning point. The fact that four major things are happening leads me to believe we won't be dealt the odious time skip:

1. Luffy will, though temporarily, surpass his energy crunch. By force of will, which sucks because it wouldn't show growth where it matters (how he thinks).

2. Zoro and Sanji will refine and acquire CoC, respectively.

3. Imu is clearly at his limit, and his team is learning of a serious threat.

4. We are quite possibly getting a new Poneglyph?

Lastly, I don't think it's a coincidence that a panel shows Loki going hybrid while telling Luffy to rest. Luffy will no doubt train with the giants. He'll learn how (technique-wise) to kill Imu due to Loki's experience with his father's death. And this should be huge for training his stamina (recent flashback arcs have these guys fighting for days). So, yeah, Oda is seriously time-crunching, but has laid out some well-thought-out plot armor by playing crew personalities off each other. Like Zoro learning CoC coating(and projection) from a conversation, while Luffy needs much more time to make sense of it.

As far as I can tell zoro did not consciously or otherwise use conqueror haki this chapter. He probably never realized that his king of hell techniques were using cladding.

I'd also argue that Luffy learned CoC imbuement rather quickly.

Pretty much. Competence aside, once he figured out you could imbue it into attacks he did it immediately. That said, it's also worth noting that luffy had awareness of it and could consciously use it since the timeskip started. Whereas zoro has never even consciously made fodder pass out. Add to that sanji who has not even accidentally used it.

I've been wondering about the steel hearts... Maybe it's not destroying the steel heart per say that kills knights but rather whichever else is within. As in, not specifically a flesh heart but something else that binds the contract between imu and the knights.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

gotta say, it's a bit annoying that 80% of the reason the arc happened as it did is that zoro went to screw around with luffy to lower elbaf. If he had simply been above then he could have easily released the children from the thorns. Meanwhile people like jinbe, dory, brogi and the rest of the strawhats and giants were literally unable to interfere with them. Zoro is just that much of a monster compared to everyone else.

Lol, what a chapter, I do like how Oda is always able to make humorous scenes with Zoro looking so serious and the opponent having comical expressions. Can't wait to see the next chapter in a couple of weeks. Will probably re-read the chapter again since we'll be on break next week I think, or maybe even re-read the entire arc.

I'm fairly tickled that even in his new juiced up form, Zorro is just practicing with Summers. He may as well be immortal as well, because Summers has no way of hurting him. I'm 99% certain Summers can't even get through his armament.

Oh yeah, dude sucks soo much that even buffs dosen't help him. 🤣 But I guess that's what happen when you feel too secure in your position. Imu shouldn't make the Knights immortal, it makes them sloppy and lazy.
