Daaamn, Noro Eisuke (I think it's him, feel free to correct me) has UNDER DOCTOR as favorite series! (It comes from JUMP GIGA Autumn 2026)
This is massive. Under Doctor might be the biggest and most impressive hit from WSJ of 2026.

Atm UD and Roku's are probably the best titles that comes up from 2026 class (and we have to wait a couple of ranking of Greykeith and The Ura Files + new batch)

Like the 2D Ticket today costs around (im not american but ima use dollars cause I would think the most profit comes from the USA) 14-16$, IMAX and 3D can cost up to 20-25$. Literally every ticket is now almost 2x compared to ur average ticket from 2012 lmao.
On Wikipedia they have Spider-man Brand New Day below Spider-man No Way Home on admissions. Ticket prices play a major role on revenue increasing, but I honestly think it's a better way to measure things in many contexts.

Often you see news about some indie game selling like 15 million copies and people compare them with major releases that sell less ignoring how the indie game is going for 5$ and the other game for 70$. I know manga went up in price in Japan, but it would be nice to know how much each series makes money wise in comparison to the past.

It’s funny, I never got the feeling BB’s merch was all that high, but to think it’s financially better than KnY is interesting to see. I wonder if a majority came from tankobon/dvd sales? If I recall, most franchises make their money from both merch and manga sales almost evenly.

Solo Leveling killing it, we need such a type of series in jump or they need to go to Korea for more content!

Blue Lock running circles around jump sports, the power of Isagi Yoichi, my love.

That is just physical sells by the selling price, not much more to see there.

This has been my strongest argument about the supposed box office numbers always increasing. Less people are going but because they have raised the prices so high they still break "box office records" all the time. A much better metric of how the industry is doing is just counting how many heads actually show up for these movies. If you sell 4 tickets at $10 million does that mean the movie was a hit? This was an extreme example, but I would say "no," absolutely not. They really need to take a head count and that would be more of a true representation of whether the movie was a hit or a flop.

Witch Watch had a quite similar chapter to Sakamoto Days and for me it feels like is pretty much wrapping up in just a couple of chapters: Whole chapter is like a callback to all the "funny gag" magics by Nico through the series which is having a big effect in the villain.

Also the message in the final page: "The final stretch/stage of the battle!"

Like i said before If each next vol has 9 chapters:

Vol 28: 244 - 253
Vol 29: 254 - 262
Vol 30: 263 - 271 (This week will be ch 268)

If one of these volumes has 10 chapters like vol 27, it would be even less, 3 to finish vol 30 and it would happen pretty in sync with next round 🤔

I’m a bit surprised. While I don’t read the series, judging from everyone here talking about it, I thought it would at least end in the batch after SD.

……

Actually, make that all of us being surprised, I guess.

It's 99% sure a new round will start on Issue #51 but Cannon Master aint ending on issue #50, so maybe on #51, i think they will probably use the already free slot for the 1st new series before ending anything.

It actually diverges pretty significantly from the Top 20 physical sales.
This is mostly Manga volume sales and BD/DVD. This is not an actual revenue of the IP's.

you can actually see how they almost correlate 1-1 to the top 20 manga sales in 2025

Vol 29: 254 - 262
Vol 30: 263 - 271 (This week will be ch 268)

If one of these volumes has 10 chapters like vol 27, it would be even less, 3 to finish vol 30 and it would happen pretty in sync with next round 🤔
How’s Hal new chapter? Is it showing any signs of worrying?
