Omg this is gonna be amazing. Fastest jump sq to anime announcement??

Actually it was Tegami Bachi and Blue Exorcist that Has the Fastest Jump SQ to Anime Announcements, (I don’t count Kure-Nai because it was a manga adaptation of a light novel and the anime followed the light novel, so I don’t think it counts) First Tegami Bachi Got an OVA Pilot, then in May 2009 the anime series for tegami bachi got announced, (I still don’t forgive them for not green lighting a full adaptation). Then Blue Exorcist got in adaptation announced and green lit less than one year after the manga started in the magazine. I Just hope that Phantom blasters doesn’t get tegami Bachi treatment, where the production committee decides to pull the plug half way through, then forces the studio to do an anime original ending.

Wait, I think I saw someone saying that the news about Kemono is wrong? That it doesn't say it's ending, but that: "Cover and Lead Color Page for Kemono Jihen to celebrate the 10th anniversary (The series is NOT ending yet, the ending is "around the corner" though.)"

But there are still two series that will end, and Kemono will end next year, soon, I think.

Haven't really kept up with Jump SQ much recently, I basically only read World Trigger and even then I'm super behind. Seems like they're losing a lot of the flagship series though. I know Gokurakugai and Phantom Busters are hits but is there anything else to pick up the weight? Any series I should be reading lol.

Sadly, I don't think any of the new series are even being translated. Odaroku seems to be doing the best out of them, but Kanojo wa Kessen Heiki is the new one I liked the most.

Besides them, I guess they'll keep depending on the usual. Blue Exorcist, World Trigger, Kenshin, Moriarty, Dark Gathering besides the two you mentioned.

I think when I heard the title for that series I just went "sounds reeeeeeally like Saikano" but it looks like it's a different vibe lol.

Yeah, it's completely different. lol The story's tone is closer to Dandadan in that it is a romantic comedy with over the top action scenarios and the mecha part is a mix of stuff like Might Gaine, classic Transformers, Konami shmups and Bravern with the sentient super robot x space kaiju battles.
