It's a constant source of amazement to me that this series isn't more popular than it is. Especially considering some of the other rather poor quality series that get multiple groups working on them. There is even an incredible quantity of high quality Ubel Blatt raws available.

That being said i'm quite grateful for any translation you can manage.

Wow, this has been quite the flurry of activity for Ubel Blatt over the last few days. Blah and Null just released v5 chapter 8 & 9 as well as v6 chapter 1.

Yeah, all the new ubel blatt makes me happy. I really enjoy the story as it is has an interesting take on the same old things.

The new releases also let me check my own work. Surprisingly I didn't mess it up too much. Going to keep at it so I can satisfy both my need for manga and practice. Spent all night on 6.2 for some reason I couldn't stop.

Besides, i roam the internet looking for more Ubel Blatt releases much like zombies looking for brain. I ALWAYS HUNGER FOR MORE!!!

*regains sanity* I suggest keeping an eye on http://www.mangaupdates.com/releases.html in the future. That site is a goldmine for knowing when new stuff is released. It's series bookmarking function is also very handy. Between Baka-Updates and Mangahelpers you'll never miss a release again.

Some group called IIDX just release chapter 51 (aka volume 6 chapter 4). I saw it randomly on Onemanga.

Wow, Ubel Blatt is really getting a lot of groups attention all of a sudden. I think their may have been more releases in that last two weeks than their was in the previous six months

I'm.....so......happy.

edit: They did 52 as well

edit2: Now 53, 54, and 55 have been released too, 1 left in volume 6.

Someone called "Mauzel" has begun working on volume 7, already released chapter 1 & 2(aka. 57 & 58).

For anyone who isn't aware i thought i'd mention whats going on with the Edited Manga of this series.

Ubel Blatt has been getting scanlated like mad over the past week by a pair of passionate fans. Suvi has released 51-56, Mauzel has done 57-63(and will be doing 64 and 65 over the next few days). If you wish to thank them you can find them on the Onemanga forum Ubel Blatt thread.

After that Suvi has decided to slow down the pace of releases a bit once the Edited Mangas reach volume 8, in order to prevent a long dry spell once they finish the available raws. So expect releases about once a week after 65.

Ubel Blatt is published in Young Gangan, the same magazine as the mangas Black God, Bamboo Blade, and Sekirei. It's a publication which comes out on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month however no raws are typically available until volumes are released, which is once ever 6 months. There are 9 chapters in a volume, and the most recent volume currently available is volume 9.

Anyone else feel that Ubel Blatt never has breathing moments. After one arc I'm thrown into another or maybe a short story, but nonetheless too hardcore for me to take a breath. But it kinda feels good to have this kind of manga once in a while. Awesome work.

@LNsu I agree. It seems like the story moves along quite a bit faster than the average manga.

Especially when you compare it next to something like Berserk. 1 Ubel Blatt chapter = like 5 Berserk chapters.

Ikfes is the son of one of the lances of betrayal , this will make the fight with Koinzell or Ascherit more personal . I wonder if he will tell Ikfes during the fight or before .

Koinzell is still a bit better than Ikfes... I'm thinking that Koinzell incorporated the Jebnaress clan's sword-fighting style into his own, and that surprised Ikfes

Well, Koin was telling Ikfes that, while he didn't manage block all of the attacks, this is the first time that someone even done it (blocking the attacks from Kuroyoku).

Ikfes was shocked by the final slash that injured him, and was asking himself that "Don't I know that move...!?"

Koin went on with his usual phrase "... So you saw it...? Good eyes."
