Poor old Portual, always underachieving along with Spain. I hope they go further this time. Nobody has commented on the England game the other day - easy to see why, it was so bad, it's not worth commenting on, but like I said, England always get through somehow.

My prediction for who will lift the World Cup is Argentina.

My prediction for the final is Argentina v Brasil

and as for england, boring, couldnt even be bothered to watch it. anyways they'r through, however what concerns me is sven(manager) is still letting gerrod, own and crotch play the next game even though have yellow crads, a yelled card in the next game means they wont play theirs first game in the knock outs. silly move i think.

anyways 3 red cards so far in italy match, but usa is holding up quite strong with only 9man, however go italy, kick their butts beat them gentle

usa did well...and considering that they are 9 men, they did really well..italy was worse than i expected...attack play is simply not in italian blood

Yeah most of the teams seem really boring...I will only watch games of my country [germany <3 ^^] and wait for 1/8 selection to see if finally a few teams will really play football...

those who play well are Germany, Spain, Argentina (of course), Equador, Aussie, and Ghana.

well there are more though.. but as for now, those all perform better than others

Ya Argentina is definetly showing top world class skills, i hope they can win the world cup this year. Credit to Lionel Messi youngest argentina player also aknowledge by Diego Maradonna, he played really well and even scored a goal. I hope he will play in the next match, Cant wait to see his performance.

People are comparing Messi to Maradona while others are comparing Robinho to Pele. Which will come out on top after 10 years? Only time will tell.

why is everybody sleeping on ronaldo he's just getting back into form, today he had several solid shots at the goal, and as far as I'm concerned there has never been a better player than ronaldo...

So depressed that us Aussies lost 2 -0 but also proud that we didn't show too much respect for Brasil and gave as good as we got (except in the scoring department - obviously lacking anything remotely resembling a striker).

Yeah, well, Harry Kewell has always a been a tosser, same with Mark Viduka. They don't realise how much they let their country's rep down when they carry on like that. And he was in no position to hassle the ref when he couldn't score if his life depended on it. Some striker!

dunno w/ u guys, but i found france vs korea's match last nyte is a really boring match.

and what was wrong w/ henry, 1 on 1 with the GoalKeeper and he missed.?!

i was programming during the whole time anyway..
till 7 o clock in the morning..

I dont want to start a discussion about who is the best player but to simply set the things right,Ronaldo was the best player ever in his prime and before Ronaldo it was Maradona.Remember the times when Ronaldo was in Barcelona,he could solo the game and since he was the only forward player in the team,the team was all depending on him to win the match.Man I remember matches that he takes the ball from his own court,dribbles all the court passing all the defence players and scoring.

now he is fat and got old.After all the operations he had, he will never be in the form he used to be.but still he is a decent striker.one of the few good one.The bad thing is he lost his interest in football.He never bothers himself too much anymore.

ahh!! i like it when some display such good memory. those were the days. why people always yap and yap in situations like this i dont get but is understandable. they make it seem like their lives are perfect.

Argentina was great, 6-0 Man but still Brazil all the way. When that match comes Brazil vs Agentine that will be awsome but lately all the teams have just been scoring in the 2nd half near the end of the game and that is boring. Oh in I was in Germany the a week and at Ramstien Air base the U.S. team was on the base but only a hand full of people knew. Luckily my dad knew and we when to Chillies(i think thats how its spelled) we saw them there but only my family and the waitors and waitresses knew that the U.S. team was there. SO we got stuff signed by them and sold some stuff on E-bay and all together got $100,597.50

ooo, im really looking forward to the play-offs, even though we will have to play against germany... but i think an opponent like that might actually suit sweden a little... i hope so at least... *_*
