Neymar is out of the world cup, I'm indignant. He was pursued for the entire world cup. It's totally unfair. However, it will not make us less strong. I'm sure we will play even better for him.

Don't dare to think that we are dead.
Well that sucks.

Kinda ironic that I asked you how you would feel if what happened to Reus, happens to you guys and now it happened...

Have to tell you though that you have quite the disadvantage now. Best defender is out and the only one who was able to play football is out too.

Meh feel really sorry for NEYMAR rather than the team etc. Imagine how long the kid dreamed about this cup. He was having a good run too and the team is in the semi-finals. He must be destroyed by this mentally. Poor guy... Fucking stupid Colombian WTF. I hope he feels a shred of shame with himself, god dammit.

Suarez bites someone, 4 month ban
Zuniga nearly renders Neymar paralyzed for the rest of his life, no punishment

Nice really nice FIFA

Was a bad tackle but I don't think it was intentional. Suarez was intentional and it was the third time. Fifa can probably still ban Zuniga for the standard 3 match ban I guess, but I highly doubt anything will be made of it.

Yeah, it was stupid, but it didn't necessarily seem malicious to me

Suarez is a case of a recidivist. He has done so much nonsense in the past, and most of those acts are too obvious to be called as unintentional. I agree that Zuniga's tackle was reprehensible but I also agree that wasn't necessarily malicious.

The main responsability for the injury is the referee. The game was being played way too agressively on both sides and he did nothing to calm them down. Yellow and red cards are existing for a reason. There was that strange scene in the first half where colombian players were talking with the referee and he simply let brasil continue the action when all colombians were still busy with him. It was very strange to see and it increased the frustration of the colombians.

Anyway, this was a good display of south american football: highly agressive, tactically poor, entertaining. Colombia was a huge disappointment aside from james who still manage to show himself positively in this mess of a game. A neuer or a courtois is stopping both goals. For the corner, any coach would say to you that any high ball in the keeper area is for the keeper and ospina placed his wall poorly which hid his view for the second goal

With neymar out and t silva out, good luck against germany. I m trying to read articles from various countries and england is harsh with brasil: brutal, no samba, worst team ever to win a world cup if they do it. In belgium, brasil was mostly praised

Norway mostly praises Brazil's performance, but our journalists are known for riding hype trains. Now Brazil isn't even interesting, but rather purely articles on Neymar.

The ref was dreadful that match, holy shit. Isn't that the guy that hands out an assload of cards in La Liga? WTB Howard Webb again, man this was bad. Give out some damn cards wtf, and when he did they were sometimes lackluster like Julio's.

I think they refrain from giving yellow and red cards as per FIFA's instructions. The situation is especially apparent earlier in the games where they're extremely lenient. Even our referee, Cüneyt Çakır, who is known to be bold when it comes to punishing players, let them butcher each other in Brazil-Mexico match. Our commentators said the card average was very low in this tournament, I guess FIFA wants to prevent the stars from being sent off or getting suspended but it encourages defenses to take harsher measures to stop the opponents which makes the matches boring and invites injuries. These rules exist for a reason, FIFA should know better.

You guys said the same about Colombia. You don't know a thing about our soccer. I will not discuss this, I'm already pissed with what happened with Neymar.

Yeah welcome to the our-best-player-is-injured club. We offer free tissues and beer.
Colombia was not on the field for the first half for reasons I don't understand. If we play like we did against France, Brazil will have a lot of problems.

You don't know a thing about our soccer.
That is kinda funny... :XD

Of course they don't know. We don't play soccer, we play football :arf
You know nothing, innocents!

Jokes aside. I'm very happy one of the semi-finals is the one I wanted. And like I said yesterday - or before yesterday?, tradition prevailed. Brazil is too big in South America. Colombia only defeated us 2 times in history. Not saying they dont have conditions to beat us nowadays, after all history doesn't win a game. But I imagine it imust be something really hard for a South America team, except for Argentina¹ and Uruguay, to face our team in our country, playing a world cup game. Too much pressure at the stadium and all the football history behind in our favor. It needs to be taken into consideration. And it was.

A giant european team has more chance to beat us.
But you can bring the "blitzkrieg", germans! Even without Neymar, I fear nothing. We have full capacity to win against Germany showing a good football. I just don't know if Felipao is well aware of that.

¹I think it is a fuel for Argentina

Ooooh, so that's what you did, saving up the good football for later on. Very clever :P

Jokes aside, the teams managing to reach the semi-finals in this world-cup should all be on about the same level (not expecting any surprises today). In the end it will depend on a lot of different, additional factors like their form of the day, a portion of luck, officiating, tactical decisions and so on. Another "exciting" match full of fouls will hopefully not be possible.

I don't think that's really the case. History doesn't really mean anything when the match starts, it's just history (unless it's something that happened not long ago). In fact, they haven't lost against you since 2003.

Okay, stress is flowing in my veins.

Thibaut, Toby, Daniel, Vince, Jan, Axel, Marouane, Kev, Eden, Divock and Dries (think they will be the starting 11)

Give us HISTORY and historical football

I just realized now that with one of the semi-finals being Brazil x Germany, one more final in history will have one of the four biggests trying to take the title again. The normality is coming back after the olny exception we had, four years ago, with Spain x Holland.
