Brazil is not as bad as you guys are making it sound. I think without Silva and Neymar, the team was definitely weaker and i would say that if Brazil had those 2 players the game could had went a bit differently. I never expected Brazil to win though.

Anyway, i think Germany will win this. Argentina/Holland show the same debilities that Brazil has showed this World Cup.
Well lets be honest apart from Robben, who has been amazing, most the rest players of Netherlands were pretty mediocre last game.
Even against a team like Costa Rica, who isn't exactly the most powerful in offensive terms they were caught sometimes off-guard and didn't really have a nice early construction phase, everyone were just hoping for some magic inspiration from Robben.

Argentina doesn't have now one of their best players, Di Maria, and if i am not wrong they have yet to win for more than 1 goal difference. I might have not watched much of Rojo, but honestly i don't think he is on the level of some other centrals in the Portuguese League like Mangala or Garay, therefore when he is used as left defender i get even more speechless. Well i guess it's definitely better than our case where we used Miguel Veloso as left defender :P but still.

I think Argentina has yet to face a strong opponent and this game against Netherlands is going to tell a lot of their cohesion on both defense and midfield.
I honestly think Argentina is an even worse version of Brazil, in the sense that i think Brazil defense and midfield are better than Argentina's and the same way Brazil got owned by Germany, the same will happen with Argentina.

I don't really like Argentina, and i can admit that much, but honestly i would be extremely surprised if they don't show some of their obvious weakness, specially if they have the chance to face Germany.

So I want to ask you guys about your opinion on Robinho, Ronaldinho etc. A lot of people are debating (and have throughout the competition, but very much after yesterday and Brazil being OUT mostly), that "what the hell was Fred doing in the squad?". People are debating that even though the mentioned players are way below their peak, they could've done way more than Fred. I mean Ronaldinho is old but he still got moves and can at least be a great 60+ minute sub IMO to add creativity to the play and a great playmaker with Neymar. And wtf Robinho isn't bad at all, surely he's way better than Fred???

Fred is not at the same level our previous strikers in WCs had (Careca, Romário, Ronaldo, etc.) but he is certainly the best we have atm
Perhaps we should've played without a central forward

Our striker, if he wasn't batsh#t crazy, would've been Adriano ""the emperor"" haha. But he is in the shape of a sumo wrestler and I bet that if someone tries to drink his sweat that person will be quite drunk :XD

Ronaldinho is going the same route. He's even singing songs about partys, how he has so much money that all the girls look at him, etc.
Not exactly a good rolemodel to young athletes lol

Robinho even in this poor moment of his career is much better than that little piece of s#it called Bernard, but he's also so much past his prime that no one questioned his absence

I can't really tell much about Robinho, but i remember watching some games from Brazil a couple of years ago, and i honestly thought Ronaldinho didn't deserve to be used. At that game, he was slow, predictable and just a burden honestly.

If i am not wrong it was against some African team, and at that time Pato/Damião were the choices for Fred's position. I was interested in watching Brazil if i am not wrong because of Ganso, because there were some speculation about him possibly signing for my team.
Anyway, i would be extremely surprised if Ronaldinho would actually add anything at all, i think he is way past his prime. But since i haven't really followed him, and the fact that Atlético Mineiro won Libertadores 1 year ago, might be enough evidence to say i am wrong ...

Honestly Brazilian's players get out of shape so easily. Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Adriano, Jardel .. we even have the example of a Brazilian's striker called Walter that played on my team, who would be pretty decent had he be able to control his weight :XD

Brazilian's churrasco too good! :XD

Sneijder had 2 shots that hit the post.

Yeah he did. But apart from that, and maybe 1/2 other moments he wasn't performing well at all imo. It was a while since i saw a game that seemed to be "specific player+10". And at this case it was Robben +10.

Why you find my statement so funny? Looking to the players overall, wouldn't you agree that Brazilian's defensive and midfield are a bit better than yours?
After it, we can maybe question how's those players's synergy. It's questionable, but well you can argue that you find your team synergy better than Brazil's.

We can also analyse the coaches, and i would say that neither two of them are amazing and that both seem to lack at their tactical component.Though i think Felipão is a good motivator.

Honestly i would be extremely surprised if today game won't have more than 3 goals.
I think either team is going to score, it's going to be a game where we are going to see a lot of different chances from both teams and where we will see both defenses having some problems stopping the adversaries.

I want Netherlands to win, but whoever wins today, i don't expect to see beating Germany at all.

Well I alwys wondered why Fred was nominated. Brazil has so may great players but Scolari kinda ignored a lot of them.
For example why didn't Scolari take Lucas Moura with him. He ignored him like he ignored Robinho and co. For whatver reason. Brazil used to be the land with the greatest strikers such as Romario,Pele,Ronaldo,Rivaldo....... and is now they don't have even one striker that is anywhere near the level of the ones I mentioned. Adriano showed signs to fill that position until party's and alcohol destroyed his life.
Brazil also always had great playermaker such as Zico,Ronaldinho,Garrincha.... and they now end up with Oscar someone who is only at best medicore. For that reason I would have chosen an old Ronaldinho and Ronaldo over Fred and Oscar. I mean both at their worst would still be better than Fred and Oscar.

I would have put Hulk as a false 9 so that he can make room for the wingers with his body it should have been easy for him.

And even the defence of Brazil is lacking. In the past Brazil had monsters such as Lucio,Juan,Roberto Carlos and Cafu. And if you compare the ones they have now it seems like Brazil stopped investing in the football youth.

Hulk is not good as a false 9. Was tested sometimes when he played on Porto, and he wasn't really that suited to play that position.

How is our midfield worse than theirs? Same with our defense, names aside?

He can't be worse than Fred. I once read a statistic that Fred is the player who ran the least the whole WC. Only the goal keepers had worser stats than him.

Argentina at the time has the worlds best striker. That is for sure. In the midfied they are equal to Brazil whereas I see Argentina better at the defensive midfield postion with Mascherano. Argenitina like Brazil is missing a great play maker such as Riquelme or Ortega. Whereas Germany and Netherland have great playmaker in their squads the south americn teams are missing these key players. Netherlands has Sneijder who is one of the best and Germany has Schweinsteiger,Kroos,Özil,Götze and so on.

And Messi should go back to the right wing that is where he played the best instead of a flase 9 or a 10.
