Because the initial point was about Neuer winning the Golden Ball, not about him not winning MotM when he probably should have. Maybe you need to go back and read.

Imo their defence outperformed their attacking line up. Zabaleta,Rojo and Masch was superb, especially Masch. Messi scored some winners, but his all round performances weren't all that to be honest.
