I named him because he's important to me. Much of my livelihood (aka homework, projects, and reports) lies in his harddrive, so at the very least he deserves a name.

I'm actually very normal. I promise.

Actually, I was going to get on the computer once and I told my mom "I'm going to get on Geraldo now." She thought I was talking about an actual guy

Also, on LANs, people usually name their computers. It's easier to remember you've seen some cool movies on Rupert than on 231.31.2423.2 or another random combination of numbers.

Since I work for a company that publishes comics and anime magazines, my workstation is GREENLANTERN (my favorite superhero). It used to be GREENGOBLIN, but there was always trouble connecting to other computers in the network since they're all named after superhero or anime chara (i.e. INUYASHA, CAPTAINKID, ROGUE, KENSHIN, MAJORMUSTANG, HELLBOY, etc.) and mine was the only one with a supervillain's name. Funny thing is, after I renamed my computer to GREENLANTERN, I can connect to other computers. That's WinXP for you, eXtra Problems.

I also love cats. Got three at home.

I have a laptop that I use when I travel, and it's named Kakashi. A testament to how much I love my favorite ninja.

Ah, the copy ninja laptop . I also named several stuff. A friend told me if you give something a name, they usually last longer and you instinctively take better care of it since ur kinda treating it like a person. Thus, my laptop is Obi Wan and my iPod's name is MJ.

I had to get a new ipod today, since I dropped mine one time too many. I had a white 30 gig video, but I got a black 30 gig as a replacement. My old one was named Kakashi-sensei (yeah, I know. Two Kakashis? Yeah, but only one is sensei ) I named my new one Pakkun. I love it him.

It was a late surprise birthday gift from her and I'm still thankful for having a great friend and also for having MJ. I had to save for 7 months so I can get Bono and you're right, i should probably make him work once in a while.
One more thing, do you think we should move this conversation in the Hangout Thread instead. After all, this is the discussion thread for 25 or 50 Things... I don't wanna break any rules.
