I dont like inch because of this,you cant be sure what it equals to. Btw mozetsu are you living among giants, since when 1.75 is short? you are longer than average people in any country.

I am glad you know about Fenerbahce but you shouldnt know Galatasaray since they are our arch rivals.

Not to be a troll, 175 cm is actually below the average height. The average height is about 178.5 or so. However, for Asians, 175 is about the average/a bit above the average. A lot of Korean and Japanese men average at about 166cm.

how does your height correlate to how your mind works? being a CEO of a "major" company does not mean that you would have to be at a particular height...e.g. have you seen in a particular job advertisement that to be hired as a CEO you need to be at a particular height because your mind works like that... huh!!!! right now big companies are based in the USA and Europe and we all know what their average height is... it is just by coincidence that these happened... you cannot make conclusions based on coincidences it would be better if you prove your justification with scientific explanations only then will i rest my case...

Let me tell you in the first place, there is nothing scientific about the explanation of this.

Think about the qualities a CEO should have. First, all of those people who wants to be a CEO need to graduate from a university. This proves that all the candidates are clever and knowledgable enough to graduate. Second, they need to have charisma because their job is managing employees. However clever a manager be, if he cant make his employees obey him he is just useless. When you think about it which one would intimidate and make you obey him; someone who is very short and funny looking or someone who is tall and strong?

Well if my english were better I could explain it easier. in short it is all about charisma and tall and strong people tend to be more charismatic.

oh and stature has nothing to do with intimidation. I've scared the hell out of some pretty tall guys.
Hitler and Napoleon weren't exactly that tall either.

World average, yes. There's a few nations with average heights of 183cm...which is about six feet.

I thought there was somethin fishy about this average. Now I see it. I dont know if any of you have taken the course statistic but there are different kind of averages. The one we use is arithmetic average but the problem is you dont look at the arthmetic average to see if someone is short or not. if there is 100 people in where you live and you are the 20th tallest one, you normally think that I am tall.you dont use arithmetic average to calculate if you are tall or not.the kind of average we need to calculate is called median. (well I forget things too easily,I am not that much sure about name) if exactly %50 of the world population is longer than 170 cm ,then we can say that the average is 170 cm. (well a little less than 170 cm is my estimation about average,it can be wrong though) but it will surely be less than 178,5 cm.

where did you get your data about the qualities of a CEO? and let me tell you this charisma is nothing without effective leadership. your example tends to lean on leadership not charisma...

@ siegfried: i used to have a pretty bad mood swings too. I don't smoke, and i also get very uncomfortable when people smoke around me. my close friends who DO smoke know that i'll snap their cigarettes in half if they do it close to me. And 7 years is a pretty long time to not cry 0.o

isnt it? I really try to cry when I watch some very dramatic movies but I cant,at most only a very small drop of tear comes out. I want to cry until my eyes run dry just once.

I dont see what is good about smoking. I mean if you drink alcohol you can do that in order to forget sad things or have more fun so I can understand that but why the hell people smokes?your only possible gain from cigarette is cancer.
