You know, I have some signs of ambidexterity myself... For example I use scissors with my right hand better, I can also write with my right hand (though not that well, but they, not that I've practised all that much), and I control my right hand tendon's better than the left hand's (of course it could be the other way around for righties...)
Anyway, for ambidextrous people!

You know, I have some signs of ambidexterity myself... For example I use scissors with my right hand better, I can also  write with my right hand (though not that well, but they, not that I've practised all that much), and I control my right hand tendon's better than the left hand's (of course it could be the other way around for righties...)

Ambidexterity is great, unless you're forced into it. Some years ago, I had a cast on my right hand, my good hand. Naturally, because I'm a righty I can't write very good with my left hand. But because I'm a good student I did most of my homework on the computer or I dictated it to my mother. A problem appeared with my Physics test, but my teacher said I could write the test another time. And here I thought "At least the cast is good for something", BUT my idiot of a Chemistry teacher made me do the Chemistry test anyway and I failed it, because I wasn't fast enough with my left hand. And do you think he cared? No, of course not.
The thing I learned from that is to practice doing things with the hand you're not so good with, because you never know what teachers or bosses you might get. I write faster and clearer with my left hand now, but it's still a bit difficult for me.

I just thought I'd share that story with you.

Yay for lefties. Finally we win, DZ.

I did tried to write using my right hand but failed miserably. My right hand is almost sleeping all the time unless for typing or other things that need two hands to operate at the same time. I brush my teeth, play badminton, use sissors, draw, paint, erase, eat, all of them, using left hand. The bad thing is that I cant use sissors well since the shape of the hole and the sissors itself is designed for right-handers, not lefties. I can only use pne knife to cut. *insert malu*

Those are really mean teachers you had Bibichan. Sometimes they can really be a pain specially when they're under a deadline and have to make the grades and stuff.

Oh..A family friend of mine can write well with both hand, but there's a situation where she got denied to an important applications (working visa for Hong Kong, i believe) because she checked that she's a lefty but during the interview she signed form w/her right hand. Unfortunate for her though. Lots like her back where i came from wants to go abroad. People in the customs are really strict so if they'll find a way to deny you even a tiny little reason.

Sorry to hear that Bibi... And yeah, science teachers generally do not seem to be overly concerned with how well their students do - just if they possess any genius most of the time. In my entire school career I've only met one science teacher I liked, and I never had his class. -_-

6. I like the lord of the rings, however I have never gotten around to reading the whole book. I saw all the movies though. that said, I did read all of the hobbit and I liked it.

You should read LoTR at least once. It's an unique reading experience.

Very cool. Seems like we have quite a number of martial arts enthusiasts here ( I did Tai Chi Chuan - Chen style ).

I hate unexpected hot days more than summer - like today, it's the end of winter and everything but I still didn't expect it to be so hot that I'd get sunburnt jogging in the park. I didn't realize I was sunburnt until I got home.

At least in summer I KNOW it's going to be hot... we've been having freaky weather around here.

16. I cannot drive, nor do I own a car.

In India, isn't that probably a good thing? I've heard it can be very crowded and impossible to get around there. Do you go on the bus a lot?

17. I hear a lot of people complain that they cannot download anime on dialup. However I downloaded the first 60 episodes of naruto on dial up. It was extremely tedious, but I did it. an episode in around a week [these were compressed episodes in rmbv format, around 60 MB each].

Impressive - I managed to get the Spider-Man 2 movie trailer on dial-up and that was it; I wasn't able to stay online long enough to download a single episode. I'm glad to have broadband.

Actually, he was the only bad science teacher I ever had. My biology teacher is also our year advisor and she's the coolest! But I never had a good maths teacher (except for one, but I already had around eight maths teachers). My current one even made me do orals, because I had been on exchange and she said she needed more marks. Problem is that she didn't have to give me a mark. Well, I passed with a 1- anyway. And I alomst passed out when she told me that mark. I'm an idiot in maths.

Yay, another martials arts freak! In the positive sense of course. I do martials arts myself, Ninjutsu to be exact.

Me too! I like the 3 movies alot - they're really great! But I think the books are so boring. I didn't even finish the first one.

Oh...so you do know much "useless" stuff? I have a friend who can tell you about so many things - how this was in history, why that was called as it's now, how this works technically and so on. Is this similar to your ability?

I can understand that. I'm not too fond of high temperatures either. I prefer something around 23 - 26 °C in summer. But that's an illusion. It always gets hotter.

Book one is outdated / boring, but book 2/3 are sooooo awesome.... just like the movies themselves... ( note: the boromir ending in movie 1 is actually part of book 2 )

Heh, i'm with Miso as far as temperature is concerned... After having witnessed °48 in Egypt.... never again!
( though it did leave me with a beautiful photograph of a deserted square with a single three, and twenty people in the three's shady area )

Also... 48C° in Egypt? Just when did you go? I've also been there in February 2 years ago and it was nothing like that... Still, I like cold more than I like hot (as of late)

Is there anything other than martial arts in your life? Have you ever been in a situtation where you had to use what you were taught? Personally, I've never used what I learnt from Tae-Kwon-Do and now, not having trained in 3 years, I wonder how I'd do in a fight... Not well I guess. Lastly, what would you do if you were the ultimate fighter on Earth? Say, you managed to be the best at the age of 15-30... then what?
