just saw your thread and what lovely pictures. they were really nice. now im more motivatied to post my kenya pics soon as, but like i said before it wont be soon. cos my camera and stuff are at my other house so hopefully come saturday/sunday.

Awww I am happy that you liked it. Sadly I seem to end up in situations like that a lot....sometimes it is my fault...other times I blame the company that I am with. x_x

@ dula - why does your mom know SO many languages? XD

@ Keeler - do you do downhill skiing as a sport then, not just for fun? Have you ever tried to do anything competitive like the Olympics? And that's cool you like Hellboy comics - I don't have all the graphic novels but I do have most of them and it's pretty unique. Movie wasn't bad either at all either.

@ Isuki - my eyes change too, from greenish-blue to blue to bluish-gray. Somebody told me it was because of the seasons. I also love swimming and I guess it's for the same reasons as you. And I guess I would be one of these people who don't care much at all about music - unfortunately XD

@ kadoman - why don't you like fantasy novels while loving fantasy movies? Ah, and I love Terminator 2 too. Unbelievable how good that movie is.

@ vanguardx - bro! You play American football too? Nice, what position? How good is your team?

@ lil yukie - you'll have to show us your fanarts sometimes! Start a Deviantart maybe. Don't let school get in the way!!! Also, I used to date a girl who wanted to be a fashion designer too, and I can tell ya right now - it's pretty tough to make it, but it's possible. But you may want to plan on becoming a New Yorker ( that is, if you're American ).

@ kadoman - why don't you like fantasy novels while loving fantasy movies?  Ah, and I love Terminator 2 too.  Unbelievable how good that movie is.

Of course, I love Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I just find everything else uninspiring. Often the writing is bad (why just because it is fantasy, do authors feel the need to adopt an unwieldy and stifling narrative tone?), the dialogue worse (characters adopt same speaking tone as awful narrator). And why must so many fantasy books come with the obligatory map/family tree that spans three million years/glossary of stupid made up words and terms?

OK, I shouldn't tar all fantasy books with the same brush. But let's put it this way: nobody has recommended me something I've liked. So, er, if you know of a fantasy book that you reckon is original, well written and breathes fresh life into the genre...I'm open to ideas!!

I love maps, so I appreciate that part about fantasy novels

Well, I'll agree some fantasy novels are a bit generic, especially after reading so many. But anyway: my favorites (other than LoTR of course) are David Eddings' Belgariad and Mallorean books, Margeret Weis/Tracy Hickman's Dragonlance Trilogy and Death Gate Cycle series, and I also enjoy Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series, and for pure fun, R.A. Salvatore's Cleric Quintet and sometimes his Dark Elf novels as well. Piers Anthony's Xanth series used to be a big favorite of mine (first fantasy series I ever read as a kid), but it's gotten old of late.

The only series I've read that I probably wouldn't recommend to you, judging by your comments, is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Also a major rip-off of LoTR to boot.

Ooooh be careful of that one. It is huge and it is still ongoing. Lets put it this way...I started it when I was in the 7th grade...it it is still not finished. Not to mention that at one point my favorite character got stuck underneath a wall for like 3 books.....to thisday I am not sure if the author just forgot about him or not.

10) I have hazel eyes, but they sometimes change to green or blue. I've never figured out what triggers them to change color. =P

That is really interesting. I am not sure that mine ever do that....perhaps light blue to dark blue?

25) Swimming always made me think I was in space, because when you're under the water you can go in any direction, unlike when you're on land. Because of this, I love it. ^^

because she used to run a international business in her days, which made her travel all over the world. to which she still travels all over but now its for leisure. and she has a gift for learning just for the fun of it. same gift as my sisters. to bad it was wasted on me.

Ya I do GK, as of now, I just play for fun but my favorite position to play is running back, it just feels like an art to be able to run and avoid people while getting to your goal. Good shit. Excuse my french.

Hehe, I never mind watching safely from the ground. ^^;; Recently my school band went to Chicago and I went all the way up the Sears Tower. On the SkyDeck my friends said I looked so pale! >_< I just wanted to prove that I could do it. I was very very happy to be on the ground again after that.

I don't know why but the comparison came to me right away when I began to swim. I only come up for air when I'm in a pool. =P

My eyes don't change the color too much, the interesting thing is that on there's a yellow circle around the grey-blue rainbow. Akatsuki leader has similar eyes, but he has a black circle.

On-topic: my eyes are quite normal, really dark brown
