Metal rules! and Metallica are brilliant too, although I don't like their latest stuff. My favourite bands are In Flames, Marylin Manson and Korn. There are loads of others but I won't list them all.

Yeah, I actually threw away my free St. Anger CD (i won a quiz from a magazine).
Well, never heard of In Flames, but Manson and KoRn rocks!!!

I didn't even bother with that album! I have had several albums over the years that I've really not liked! Some were given to me by people & a few i bought myself because I was told "they were great".

In Flames are a swedish melodic death metal band - I like em...you can check them out at their myspace profile.

Deftones are another of my favourites. I'm always looking to listen to new bands.

What was the first metal band you got into then? I think mine was Korn or Metallica, can't really remember now cos it was so long ago.

The Saint Anger CD is good... as a Frisbee or to hang it in your rearview mirror if you drive a taxi.
Metallica was good up until the Back Abum... then it went down.

I prefer listening to Maiden (i've seen them in concert in spain and they Buce Dickinson is so awesome), Motorhead, Megadeth, Manowar, Sabbath, Angra (i've seen live to), Lacuna Coil (also seen them live), Dream Theater (seen them live too), Edguy, Avantasia, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Judas Priest, Korn, Zeppellin, Lordi, Metallica, Nightwish, stratovarius and some others more.

Mine was Metallica. My cousin introduced me to them (by making me watch a Live Concert video) when i was 11.
Anyway, if we wanna talk more about music, let's move to The Music Thread.

Otep are a really good band - the lead singer is usually mistaken for a guy, but is actually a woman, she just raws so deeply that people make the wrong conclusion!

Lacuna Coil are cool...and Cristina Scabbia is gorgeous (IMHO)

The only trip I made overseas was five years ago, in Hong Kong. If I really had the money, I would go to Europe. The sights there are really nice.

Probably in the Iberian Peninsula(Spain, Portugal, Andorra..), because my grandma said that our ancestors were Basque and Portuguese. I'd love to see how my very distant relatives live. Oh, and I would like to visit Britain, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland too. Pretty much everywhere, eh?

1. Well it's not as good as I want it to be (and definitely not as good as some of the other translators) but I have to keep at it and study more! ... which I haven't done recently.

Whole Foods is the best Too bad there isn't one very close to me, otherwise I'd never cook. Their soups are so good, and they also make very good baklava

You should go!! One of my cousins and many of my friends did their semesters abroad there, and absolutely loved it. I honestly haven't heard one bad thing about it. Especially if you're an outdoors person, it's paradise. In fact, one of my friends is going back there this summer, just to bum around. I say go for it
