This week's chapter begins with the Funk Brothers taking down everyone they find in their way. I honestly was overestimating them, thinking that since they were able to defeat one of Chinjao's family, they'd sure be a challenge to the rest of the fighters.
But alas, Sai comes and pours cold water on my thoughts with his attack. That surely was awesome.
Btw, Kelly Funk seems to have more of a Suit Suit ability rather than a Jacket Jacket ability cuz all his body was worn rather than just his upper half.
What Donchinjao says about Garp stealing his huge fortune, his powers, and the memories of his youth leads me to think that Garp fought Chinjao, as a marine, while he was just about to get his hands on some great
treasure and that's when he robbed him of his
strength(either temporarily or permanently) by either giving a wretched defeat that he couldn't even move a bone in his body or taking from him, as a marine, the Devil Fruit of his dream, thereby giving him horrible
memories that have kept haunting him from that time in the past up till now in the present.
I surely do like these panels where Luffy talks nonchalantly while Jean the Robber is tuckering himself out trying to land a hit on him. That was so awesome. It goes to show how great his grasp on Color of Observation is.
I also like this part of the page where all the weapons thrown at Luffy landed on Chinjao's abdomen while he was following him lol. You have no idea how much I laughed after I turned the page just to be surprised by that. Jean the Robber understood right away the gravity of his situation when he realized how angry he made Chinjao. While he was meditating about the gravity of his situation, Luffy approaches him like nothing happened and takes his helmet back from him. That was funny.
Sai and Ideo seem to have equal power here. I liked their fight. Seems like Sai is using his Hasshoken while Ideo is using his mechanical arms to guard and fight back.
While their fight(Ideo's and Sai's) left the audience on the edge of their seats, waiting for the outcome of such ferocious battle, Luffy and Chinjao,targeting each other, come and effortlessly take them down. That was awesome. Besides the audience, even the announcer was left speechless by that.
And finally comes best panel: the clash of the two Color of Conqueror users. How long have we waited for this to come? Weeeks. But our patience was rewarded with a splendid chapter. So even Chinjao's hand can become blackened with Color of Armament hardening. This sure is awesome. It's way much better than the Z movie. Finally a canon fight between two great haki users.
Again Luffy's beard was not shown in this panel while it was shown on the others that came after it.
Amazing! The impact was so strong that it created a shock wave.
Seems like Diamante is not worried about having to fight a CoC user later on. This tells me that this wasn't the first time he would witness or face a CoC user. I wonder if he is a Color of Conqueror user too... It would be awesome if DD has CoC users under his command.
The fight is amazing that even the shark is looking at it instead of butting those who fell there lol. Also this panel confirms that Ideo and Sai aren't DF users.
