Question A quick question about Annie

Hello.
I have been watching all the episodes of the anime, and I have been meaning to read the manga but haven't yet.
I would like to ask, after Annie gets captured, what happens to her in the manga? Does she completely disappear from the story line? how big is her role?.
As you can tell, I don't mind spoilers.

I know you probably know this, but she became a crystal just before she got captured XD. After a few chapters of her capture though, it seems like her presence almost disappeared...and then, she seemed to appear in mini-flashbacks or mentioned at least once in almost every other chapter ever since her accomplices were finally revealed. I think it's probably a way that Isayama is trying to remind us that she is still alive and important to the plot. How important? I don't know. Just important. I mean Isayama still keeps mentioning her in the manga and haven't really killed her off yet, so I assume she's still going to play a role. :/

It makes me rather sad that the manga is at chapter 50 and she still hasn't appeared after being captured.
She is definitely my favourite character by far.

Well, she actually does like literally appear, but like I said, in mini-flashbacks. And we're actually at least still getting a small character development for her, through her accomplices. Though that's actually just my opinion. XD

Yeah, I hope Isayama brings her back soon. She was my favorite character until she was captured and mostly disappeared from the manga.
