She became this strong through pure talent from what it seems,no family connection.

Kinda weird though. TOG is pretty much all about talent and lineage, there isn’t much room for Rock Lee types.

On this note, I have to say that if I had to place my bet between these:

1. there are no real Zahard princesses
2. there is at least one real Zahard princess

I'm going to bet on (2), and if it is (2) then Adori's as good a guess as anyone else we currently know about.

Yeah either true blood daughter or some de-facto equivalent: clone, partial/mixed clone, or more out there (insert your favorite red light district/Wangnan/etc. theory here, if you see what I mean).

I think it depends on the story. SIU has been fairly consistent in this regard, that those with talent have more strength. Still the debate in the manwah is there: Gustang says anyone without the talent of the irregulars is trash vs Urek who says everyone matters. That of course is a softer version of the V versus Zahard debate.

And hard work is in there. Ran and Anak have talent, but they had to work hard to hone their talent. You can take a bad steak and make it taste OK and a great steak and it’ll taste amazing but it’s pretty easy to take a great steak and it taste horrible. The steak meat quality is the talent in ToG and the cooking is the hard work.

It’s like this: not everyone will be an astronaut, but the dude who turns the bolts on the rocket have value just like the astronauts do. Likely both of them had to work hard to succeed in what they do. This is the perspective SIU is trying to build. We don’t all have to be astronauts to matter, and it’s totally ok that everyone isn’t an astronaut.

As far as the gustang bit.... I am not entirely sure the issue there was strictly power tbh. At least my impression was that power factored in to what gustang was saying but he also referred to tower's residents in general.

Ah, definitely. People in the tower do work hard. But the important part here is the context. Hard work matters only to those who have the talent. As in, bam can work on his shinsoo and he will improve at an astounding rate. Androsi, rak can put in work and they will improve quickly by regular standards. But.... if you don't have the talent then no amount of hard work can help you. Hard work only takes you as far as your shinsoo talent can carry you basically. In context, imagine that the best teacher in the tower takes ho. And tries to train him (her?). And ho gives it his absolute best. Either ho will find a scrap of talent to latch on to or simply not improve a tiny bit....

Only if she get change of hart at some point. For now she might be one of the greatest enemies to Bam.
But too many known steong people who are inactive atm.

Right about hard work. My point is that as the Tower is set up, it’s as Lero Ro said:

the Tower says you can do anything and go for your dreams, but then one day it turns around and says “this is your limit.”

It seems cruel on its face, but this is the dynamic that Bam is meant to confront with Zahard. Not everyone can be the star of the show, Ho cannot be as powerful as Bam, but this is closer to real life. The question is whether the people that aren’t the stars, whether they still have value or not. Does might really make right?

I will never be a star basketball player at 5’6”, no matter how hard I practiced and even how good my shooting was. But I’m ok with that. I found my purpose in other things.

Not to say that hard work doesn’t pay off. One of my friends took the MCATS several times and was rejected from medical schools for 6 years or so. But she made it and is a doctor now. Is she going to be a star surgeon at a Harvard hospital? Probably not. But I can tell you she couldn’t be happier.

There really isn't a solid basis for this theory. Hwaryun refers to Wangnan as the 'biggest mistake Zahard and the Ten Families have ever made' and Yihwa compares him to a baby Zigena, a symbol of shame that Zahard and the families are trying to hide from the world.

And I just thought Zahard banging a princess might be shameful enough to warrant hiding Wangnan's existence from the rest of the tower. idk, I just thought that'd be an interesting twist.

Adori being Zahard's wife wouldn't be shameful IMO. The one getting all the weapons is supposed to become his wife. With Enne out of the picture, there is no threat to Adori. If she was interested she could easily get them all I think.

Or it could exacerbate the tensions between the families if Adori is officially selected as Zahard's best girl. I also think it's worth noting that the true purpose of the princess selection process has largely been forgotten by the rest of the tower. As far as the public knows, princesses are supposed to be Zahard's representatives that are not allowed to have children at the risk of spreading his power. So Wangnan's existence is something of a hypocrisy of the king's own decree.

Mind you, I know it's thin. I'm just entertaining the idea.

i think she is a child of zahard and beside her natural talent it explain why she is trusted by zahard.
that why it would a good to end the knot of zahard and arlen if adori and baam fall in love.or he could take after his mother and break her heart.
enne exist in the backround as well andorsi...all of these girls but who will baam chose will he ever chose.fh arent reknown for great love story maybe V and arlen.
but it will sure be weird for baam to be trapped in romance.

I see that the only option that everyone thinks is viable is bam, but why doesn't anyone think about Wangnan? He is basically zahard in his time of the "great journey", the only quality he lacks is "power", if we go for someone it should not be Wangnan the most "indicated", especially because Wangnan is more emotional, fun and chaotic, it would be the perfect contrast to the cold, rational and orderly adori .

Maybe Zahard separated his weak qualities from himself with the intent of killing it off. However, when he did it, he ended up with this immortal weakling Wangnan. That would definitely qualify as a mistake.
