Hi, I'm 23 here!

I can't speak for everyone but I'm not dropping my manga for anyone. I do get younger friends and older ones who aren't into manga asking me how long I intend reading "that stuff" I'll carry on reading it for as long as there are good ones and I still have the interest.

At the time I wrote that, there were no votes for mid twenties though there were for early and late twenties lol.

Right now there's no votes fr anyone under 18 or over 33.

Something which has crossed my mind is that on different forums many of the members now in their early teens or twenties joined the forums when they were at school age. But people aren't joining the forums so young now as I've noticed above. Is anime going unpopular among teenagers (apart from the Narutards)?

I'm 23 but the only thing I think my age may influence is how regularly I visit the forums. Soon I may lose interest in discussing manga and general topics on here.......

Whoa, there's quite a few demographic groups on the poll XD Though they would be broader in terms of ages included, but whatever. I'm 18 :3

Its still interesting there's no one under 18 or over 33 who's voted, and only one 30-33 year old. It looks like anime and manga is an interest for people in their late teens and their twenties, especially their late teens and early twenties.

I guess this fits with the interest in anime and manga among university students, but I'd have expected the next largest demographic after them to be people aged 12-17. And I would have expected at least one or two votes from people over 33, instead, there's only one vote from someone in their 30s.

Well, I started reading manga in my Mid Teens and I'll stop it before I reach Late Teens.

well for once I think there aren't a lot of members who visit this section so it's unlikely that the poll will show the members average age. Take the younger people who usually only read the popular Shounen titles like Naruto or One Piece and barely visit other threads (no offense here). On the other hand older people might be scared off by these mangas because they think it's just childish stuff with fancy fights etc. and don't even know that there are a lot of very deep mangas which surpass a lot of books.
