I bet on some more “just as planned...or fate?” angle, honestly. When you look at Baam’s S2 team at least Wangnan and Teddy are obviously “no coincidence” (even though we don’t know who arranged for them, or how, or if it’s...fate).

So I think the causality might be the other way around: Akraptor’s daughter already was another tool deployed by Rachel’s sponsor (maybe), and thus background machinations lead Akraptor to wind up on Baam’s team. Especially since iirc Akraptor’s wife was someone from one of the families (iirc we don’t know which).

I mean it’s possible Rachel just used Akraptor’s ring to recruit the daughter but seems like no point recruiting unless the daughter has worthwhile skills.

In more serious note. I think Rachel lied to her, as she loves to do to everyone around her, making her hate Baam, by putting the death of her father on Baams shoulders. The horrible part in this ismthat even today, till now Baam don’t know what happened to Akraptor and prince. So when they clashed it would be great fundament to bring Wanganag back, so he could stop fight between Baam and Akraptors daughter, taking all her hate on himslef, by that he will atone his sin. This will trigger akp daughter to rethink her relationship with Rachel, with that she may join Baams team.

The girl belongs to a team of regulars that the elder suports. And maybe she decided to join the team because she wanted to ask baam what happened to her father. I doubt it is public knowledge how ark died... In the end I agree that this looks like a situation for wangnan because baam or the people around him have no idea what happen to ark so it would be pretty awkward...

Also, knowing Baam well, and how he treats his friends, that girl could be great asset to fight Baam(Baam will hesitate in the fight with akp’s daughter knowing how much she means to akp). Yes akp’s death ain’t whole tower event. But. His daughter can have some info about him from her mother and she could be rebellious type of girls. She easley could run away from her family to find her father, with this Rahel can come in stage with much needed info, whic will be twisted in her own advantage. Rahel has only one team and it’s her own team, she is using fug and Gustang for her own goals and vice-verca. Akp’s daughter may consider her help especially if she sees how powerful Rachel is and for whom she is working. So, Rachel could easily trick her, by lies and deception, to weponize her feelings(akp’s daughter could be hopefull girl with dream to find her father, but now she finds out that someone destoyed it, making her dream shatter and by that zero leveling all of her sacrifices that she had to give to achive that goal, it’s pretty powerful stimulation to join Rachel and fight with Baam for her). I know it’s just a theory, and she could easily be just a pawn to lure Baam into trap. Pretty much everything is possible in this situation.

The problem here is akp’s daughter. Untill we knew something about her and her motivations we can’t 100% be sure about anything. Apple and the killing doctor could be just pawns in Rachels game, in which she could also use akp’s daughter. Yes, Wangnang will be essential part of resolving future possible conflict with Baam and akp’s daughter. But will Baam and that girl forgive him, that’s very questionable.

i still have no idea why Fug or Gustang pampers that useless wretch and folks follow her around. Looser like that Ha girl with screws loose makes sense. Bam makes sense as he lived with her most is life and started to adore her and even he now ditched her for the most part.

If you are talking about Rahcel it's quiet easy. They knew about Baams prophecy and what he is, or what he will became, and the best way to meddle with him and force him to several directions is Rachel. Considering that Headon helped her too, we can safely assume that even guardians are aware of this and trying go push her up to higher floors artistically. This isn't about her talents, it's about Baam. That's why she is so pissed, because it his story, but she tries to rewrite it for herself, but always fails.
