Definitely not happening anymore. I think he'll just draw it in the main story instead since it's supposed to be connected to the current arc.

If SIU can find someone to draw the spinoff, it might be possible. In this case, SIU role at the spinoff will only be as the story writer.

I'd actually be 100% on board if SIU licensed out his Tower ideas to other illustrators, and just was involved in the greater story same as done by other mangakas. The Tower is a universe-sized (in scope, size, history) tower set in a world of other towers even. There's soooo much he can do with even the characters he already has, much more with others not yet released in the greater scheme. Maybe instead of off-screaning some stuff, he could license out.
