All Purpose Sig Contest Discussion Thread 2011

poor Shin... that's so frustrating...
I learned some time ago to save really often, and in different stages, as to always have some back up... I also save the files in different disks (external hd, etc..) I really had terrible problems with my old computer...

Wasn't sure about entering this week, but then I remembered that the get well card I made for my sister was one of a blue sky she photographed. So I made a sig similar to it.

well I had to reformat my drive again, so Ill probably be reinstalling some stuff tonight if I can get my OS up to speed and everything~

I ended up doing a Kingdom Hearts sig since I couldn't find anything interesting images from other characters. But I guess it works out in some way, since it's Sora and all.

@Coffee: Aw that sucks. Hopefully it won't be frequent all the time, and if it is, then something is definitely wrong.

The long-awaited collaborative contest is finally here, and the theme for it is twin. For this contest, you must collaborate with another user on your submission. (Only one of you from your partnership needs to make the submission post though; just make sure you properly credit both artists.) If you have any confusion on how this works, check out the previous collaborative contest here.

In terms of the actual theme, your submission needs to be about twins in some fashion. You don't have to use actual twin people/characters necessarily. You could use two things of the same kind. You could use "spiritual" twins, two people so alike that they are twins mentally. You could also make your submission about something with the word "twin" or "twins" in the title.

I look forward to the creative collaborations to which your partnerships shall give birth!

I might have to sit out of the collab contest this time around; it's not that I don't want to but I'll be out the last week (going on vacation). But it should be interesting, with the theme being twins and all. Well, I might want to do it still if I can get it done by this week. Anyone not have a partner yet?

It's quite a coincidence to me with twins being the theme; it seems the latest things I've been seeing related to twins in some sort and I'm a twin too lol it's weird XD

@ Shin - sorry if I don't seem to be as active or as interested/excited about this up and coming contest. =/ Anyway, I've made a few notes here and there about the different approaches we can take with this theme. I'll discuss it with you more via PM. Please give me some time though. Don't get the impression I'm completely ingnoring you or something. I just haven't been around much and I'm trying my best to get back into this. =)
