On a slightly related note, for the next collaborative contest, please remind me to remove the part about teams being able to enter two entries. I really like the two entries that were produced by one of our teams, but after the first collaborative contest, someone had pointed out to me how that was unfair to people who did not have the time to make more than one entry. I told that person that I would remove that for the next time we did a collaborative contest, and I completely forgot to remove that part when I created the submission thread. (For the submission and voting thread opening posts, I typically copy and paste and then change the relevant parts, including my edited comment, but for that thread since my comment contained rules on how the collaborative contest was supposed to work, I didn't re-type the whole comment and that part got left inside.) So, this was my error, but if and when we do another collaborative contest, I hope that someone catches this so I don't make the same error twice.

The new contest is up, and the theme this time is soul. What is "soul?" It is such a nebulous concept. There are several interpretations of what is a "soul," and you can use any one of them you like. Your submission can be about a soul(s) or anything with "soul" in its name. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Let your submission be the window into yours!

Finally, for those who have not checked out the results of the Spring Art Contests, the winner of the 2011 Spring Signature Contest is our very own Farfalla!!!

Her "Ookami" from the chibi-themed contest garnered the most votes and has earned the right to be called "Best Signature of the Season." This is Farfalla's first time winning the Seasonal Signature Contest. So, be sure to give our reigning champion a big round of cyber-applause!
