Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a while.... lost my internet for a while and just got it back -.-

Welcome back kakashi! I was wondering what happened to you, and I guess everyone else too. The next sig contest just started while the collab contest wrapped up and voting for it started.

As for the theme soul, I initially thought of Soul Eater and Gintama. I think jazz music might work in some way.

At first I thought of Bleach, but I don't want to use too much popular characters and anime anymore... well the ones I know. Will do some brain storming and look for some renders for the soul theme.

Shan Tsung from Mortal Kombat is an idea I got though.

I never thought of Bleach, but like what you said, I don't really want to use popular characters. I'll continue to look for more ideas too. I already did a Gintama sig and was going to do Soul Eater, but then I went and did something else. ^^'

I like the first one a lot! It has amazing depth and the render is really neat. Only thing that bugs me is the text. The font seems a bit too spaced between each letter and it also seems to go against the flow of the sig. But even with the text like this, the signature stood out for me when I looked at it in your gallery.

Hmm, it seems to move horizontally across the sig more so than the text, like almost parallel to the bottom and top. And I think it's actually more the placement and size of the text that interupts it, not necessarily orientation of the text.

Well I see the flow as going diagonal with the text, I even made sure to orient all the objects with that in mind.

The glows, the scanlines, her arm and the way she is leaning.... so I matched the Text up with that~

the character has a movement that leads us to look towards the right inferior part of the sig and than the text sends us up-right...
but actually the kerning and the relative position between the two words is what gets more of my attention, not the overall alignment...
