Re: Am I allowed to do this? XD

Hey Naomi how's it going?

So other than DGM do you read anything else?
Are you watching any anime at the moment?
Who's your favorite DGM character?
Are you from the East or West coast?
speak any other languages?
what kind of music do you like?
Favorite food?

Enough questions for now. o/

Other than D.Gray-Man, I am not currently reading anything else on a regular basis. I am, of course, open to suggestions at any time if you feel that I'm missing out on anything good.

As the episodes of Ao No Exorcist come out, I do like to watch them. So far I'd give it 3.5/5 stars. That's pretty much the only anime I'm watching for the moment. I've completed quite a few in the past though. c:

My favorite D.Gray-Man character... AH! How could I ever choose? I have to admit I love Allen Walker, namely because of his design and development as a whole throughout the series. I'm very excited to see how he evolves further, even to the end. I'm also enraptured with Timcampy, as silly as that may seem. Lately I've been pretty interested with the Earl as well. I could go on and on about each character, but that would become extremely long and boring. xD

I'm smack dab in the middle. I only wish I lived near a nice beach. Haha

English is my first and only language. I admire people that are fluent in more than one, because foreign language is one of the most difficult subjects in school for me to grasp. I would rather be in calculus or chemistry!

Music! Ahhh. I listen to a bit of everything. I don't like to discriminate against any genre. Alternative, rock, indie, pop, electronic, classical, metalcore, dubstep, dance, with a bit of country, hip hop, and oldies. I listen to music just about everywhere I go. And if I'm not (god forbid), there's something stuck in my head.

I love anything sweet to eat! c: I am open to all sorts of food, except that I don't eat fish or meat.

Thank you for the questions!

Hello to you as well.

I haven't read any manhwas, I have to admit.
I'm not familiar with them at all.
So let me shoot one back at you.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

[Charlie]

Re: Am I allowed to do this? XD

Theres a bunch of them to choose from.

I would say try Noblesse, The breaker, Zippy Ziggy, ID the greatest fusion fantasy.

Those are some of my favs, check out the manhwa section to see more of them. (link in signature)

Awww, such a good answer :3

Which music artists do you like the most at the moment?

Hi...the fact that U presented URself with a pic first means your a very open person...what's the craziest thing U've ever done?

Ohai, Naomi! Why would you not be allowed to do this? XD By the way, I hope you enjoy your stay around MH.

Yay for summer breaks! How long would it last? What are you planning to do for the holidays? Going somewhere, maybe? ^__^

My all-time favorite bands would have to be Meg & Dia , Keane , and Lydia ( who recently broke up after only two albums-I actually cried *so lame* ). Some of my guilty pleasures and Hollywood Undead, Tech N9ne, and I have a huge crush on Eminem. XDDD I almost forgot about The Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, and Imogen Heap. This question is hard. Too many to choose from. *_*

I used to be an extremely shy person, but yes. I threw that version of myself away a few years ago.

Oh man. The craziest thing I've ever done.... That's another difficult question!
One time, I ordered a pizza at a party and invited the pizza man inside to play beer pong with me. He actually said YES. We lost, but it was probably the most intense game of beer pong I had ever played.

I was dancing on top of a bar at a club one time, and fell off! XDDD It was pretty embarrassing, but I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm actually a pretty crazy person (though it doesn't seem like it on the surface), but I think the pizza guy story wins.

Thank you! I'm sure I will. So far, so good. And I've never started my own thread before, so I just wasn't even sure if I was allowed to do it! BAhaha I'm just slow sometimes is all.

My summer break started about a month ago, so I only a little less than 2 months left, sadly. I don't have any huge plans this summer, other than going to Utah to attend my dad's wedding. I've only met his fiance once (and never met her kids), so it might be pretty awkward. I love the mountains though, so Utah will be great.

@Charlie - Oh, thanks for the suggestions! I'll let you know when I get the chance to check some of those out.

Re: Am I allowed to do this? XD

Haha...it's good to be friendly even with a pizza guy right?
My craziest thing was when we were in greece and there were two identical cars parked outside a hotel...so guess what...we switched the cars...
I would've wanted to see the owner's faces

---------- Post added at 10:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:39 PM ----------

Oh and btw...dancing on top of the bar...in skirt?

[Naomi]

Re: Am I allowed to do this? XD

You switched the cars?? How on Earth did you do that? That's a hilarious prank though! I bet Greece is beautiful. I wish I could go there.

And sorry to disappoint, but no. I was wearing skinny jeans. My friend was wearing a skirt though, and I got to see her boyfriend tackle a guy who was totally trying to peek. XDDD That was great!

Well we were 9 guys there...so we just picked the car up, moved it aside, the picked the other car up and moved it into the other's place etc...it was really funny and we weren't the most sober guys in the world either...
Greece is pretty cool...but only as a tourist...living there is quite tough...or so I heard...from greeks...

Haha well...too bad for the boyfriend actually, if he has to stay on guard duty...

Haha, not a problem. I was like that the first time I joined online forums. You'll get used to it as you hang out more around. XD Is this your first time being in a forum, or you've been to other online forums before?

Still two months! That's still awesome. You can still do lots of things in 2 months. XD Watching drama and anime, or read manga, or play games, for example. :3 Ah, congrats to your dad! I hope you have a blast there, with new families too. ^^

Oh dear! One Piece is quite a project to take on. XD But you seem pretty srs about it, so I'll move it to the next thing at top of my list.

Ok, my favorite fruit is a pumelo. They're kind of weird are hard to find at the store, but I think they're the best.

Hardcore rightie! My left hand is retarded. It really cannot do a single thing.

I don't watch television often at all. I bought all the seasons of House on DVD though. It's my favorite television show for sure. I can't wait until season seven comes out! I'm more a a movie watcher than anything else. *NETFLIX ADDICT*

My favorite anime/manga character. AHHH. What is it with you guys and these difficult questions? I'm infatuated with Link from D.Gray-Man as well as Timcanpy and Allen.

I'm on summer break at the moment, but I'll be transferring to university to study chemistry this fall semester. I'm ready for my junior year, hoohoo! I've had the same job since I was 15 and love it. It's at an ice cream store.

Thank you for your questions!

I've never been to the Fun Forum, no. But the name sounds promising.

Although I'm not big into sports, I really love watching baseball. As for which sport I don't like, that would have to be american football. I absolutely hate the thing. I think it's extremely boring and it doesn't make any sense. XD *sorry to anyone that loves american football*

Mangahelpers is my first ever forum to join! Needless to say, I get very lost sometimes.

Yup, I'll try to make the most of my last two months. So far I've been really busy. My goal is to finish reading East of Eden, finish the entire Lord of The Rings series of novels, and do at least 10 paintings! I love free time with a passion.

And thank you for the wishes, that's so nice. c:

@benelori: That's brilliant. Sometimes the best ideas come to us when we're completely hammered. XDDDD

Hahaha, that is great! Being lost in a forum can be confusing, but there are tons of people here to ask so don't worry. ^__^

Wow, that sounds like a long list. East of Eden? Is it the same with Higashi no Eden? The Higashi no Eden I know is an anime which is based on novel. I wonder if they are the same? :O And LOTR! I don't really like it since I don't read or watch it, but I admit that LOTR movies have the best elves I've ever seen.

Aaaannd you're welcome. :P

[Naomi]

Re: Am I allowed to do this? XD

M3J - It's a tie between the Colorado Rockies and the Dallas Rangers. *fist pump* If you like baseball too, who's your favorite?

phio-chan - There's an anime based off of East of Eden? Holy crap, I never knew that! It's the novel by John Steinbeck (you might know him for Grapes of Wrath of Of Mice and Men). So far I'm only on page 200, but it's about these two brothers, Adam and Charles, and this psychopath girl named Cathy. Pretty awesome so far.

Yay! make sure you take your time with it, since you're on a break and OP is too for the next week, so can slowly start. A lot of people who begin to read it find the begining a bit slow but trut me, once you get past that first bump, it's only onwards and upwards from there

Is this the pumelo fruit? I had no idea what it was so I hat to google it

Spoiler

I'm sure there's stuff you can do with your left, but you'll probably only remember when the situation arises. I open bottles and doors with my left, as well as a few other stuff.

I don't watch much of tv either, in fact I haven't switched on my tv since last month; think it's time I get rid of it. I used to watch House for a while, til I got rid of my cable then I just kept wind of the progression of Cuddy and House's relationship. I also used to watch Grey's and Supernatural; which I hear has picked up now.

What's Netflix? an american thing? What kinda movies are you into? top 5?

Hard questions/ you wait for the next round missy! I don't read D.Gray-Man and have no idea who the other 2 characters are educate me please....

Oh my you're an ice cream lady?!
