So we all have seen Sasuke's Enton Kagutsuchi and his Amaterasu. The latter is a black fire whose rules are different from what we've seen. Similarly, we know now that Kuroi Kaminari (black lightining) also exists, and it isn't another nature, it seems to be a variation of Raiton.
Sharingan is sort of the other half of Rinnegan, but one covers Yangton, and Sharingan is all about Yinton (Genjutsu). But what are the differences of Yinton and Yangton? We have a thread about it already, so I won't argue and just put my take on the issue, related to this subject.
Yangton can cover the entire reality, not just your body. Yinton would cover just the sentient beings' mind. But that restricts a lot of Yinton's coverage! Yangton would be far broader if that were the case. My take is that Yinton covers chakra flow, while Yangton covers the matter (the energy-matter duality).
Getting to the point, is it possible to divert the chakra flow of an object into heat (thus causing it to go into combustion)? We know Amaterasu works differently than other fires, so perhaps it doesn't affect the matter (as normal fire) but rather the chakra (energy) stored in it, as an Yinton!
Katon -> Turns the matter into dust by using Yangton;
Amaterasu (Yin-Katon) -> Turns chakra into heat by using Yinton;
It would explain a lot about why does it work like that, and why is it black (Yin = Darkness). Black Lightining would also be a form of Yin-Raiton, pure energy flowing like thunder, and not an actuall lightining (thus being much faster due to abscence of matter movement).
The missing puzzle would be Enton, but perhaps they're entirely different things. They both look like black fires, but maybe Enton is a dual-chakra nature (Yangton), while Amaterasu is a Yinton. It would explain why a genius such as Itachi never manipulated his Amaterasu's shape like Sasuke did with Kagutsuchi.
So, what you guys think? Is it possible that Amaterasu and Black Lightining are Yinton moves?
