This category is for the colorists out there who are just now discovering their talent of coloring manga. If you feel you're experienced enough, head to the Advanced Coloring contest!

Rules:
- This category is for colored manga panels only! If you're coloring another person's artwork (fanart or original art), head to the Color Art contest and join with a collaborative work.

- If the panel you're coloring was traced/cleaned by another person, please state its name on the description. Never do any coloring without asking permission for the use of the lines first, unless its stated that's free for everyone's use!

-The contest doesn't have a specific theme! Feel free to choose any panel/page you like, it doesn't have to be summer related.

- If the submission was done as a collaboration, please state the names of everyone who contributed on the description. Make sure everyone who's involved agrees into taking part of the contest!

- You can submit up to 3 artworks for this contest. Only your most voted entry will be taken in account for the results though - you won't be able to win at 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at once.

To apply, follow this instructions:

Every contest entry must be uploaded on the Mangahelpers' Photoplog. It's very easy, just follow this steps:

1. Click HERE.
2. Choose "Amateur Coloring" as the category, and click continue.
3. Fill out the "Upload File" page and click upload.
4. To view the current submissions, go HERE.

A question.. If I want to color a panel from Red River... But the one I want doesn't have any credit to anyone and no name of whom scanlatet it, cleaned it...

Shall I then assume its free to use or should I find another?

Have you looked into our database? Maybe you can find the info you need here: http://mangahelpers.com/manga/browse/

If you really can't find the info, well, then it's ok i guess ^^;

Okay.. And yes I did look there, no info about red river. So I'll assume its free to use.
