This theory is straight forward. I believe Arlong is a slave currently in The Holy Land Mariejois.

I think in Wano, Jinbe will show up. When the crew continues the story into Mariejois at some point, this will occur and there may be a moment of tension between Nami and Jinbe after they free him and he sticks around but it may be over looked if he's been revealed to have gone through a "karmic torture" of sorts. There will be a few more moments of contention, I see Arlong making a in the moment sacrifice to give the straw hats an out during the story again.

Just a hunch.

If arlong is a slave, that will make him even hate human more. He gets direct humiliation and is reminded of the traumatic experience from his ex captain.

Could be too repetitive.. But I can also see ways it could set up redemption through sacrifice if he has an epiphany or something similat
