But the whole point of a smartphone is that it uses the internet. Even if the phone itself isn't much more than $200, paying for a data plan is an entire new monthly charge I don't need or want.

Well all that I know is that when I left my car last Monday, I had it. An hour later after biochem, I couldn't find it anywhere. I've overturned my bedroom, car, and checked every possible lost and found on campus and the city police station. That lovable little motherfucker is long gone.

That's true, but I guess it depends on what the added benefits are worth to you. I still don't use it to it's full potential, like a lot of people are - zombified by their phones. But there was no point in being behind the times for me, plus it's convenient when you need it.

Doesn't sound good, but who knows.

You can usually find a Refurbished Ipod at Gamestop for pretty cheap, hell if you go to a Pawn shop you should be able to find one even cheaper there.

The most appealing aspect of a smartphone for me is the GPS function. However, I own a GPS by itself, so it's taken care of. I understand why people like smartphones though. All of that information at your fingertips. You could just search anything imaginable at the swipe of your finger.

Just not something I'm willing to pay for at the moment. I'm sure I'll get one eventually though. It's just... Well I've misplaced my phone and haven't seen it in three days. That's fine with my free piece of shit phone. With a smartphone, I would be freaking out. TOO MUCH STRESS ASSOCIATED WITH THOSE PHONES!

That's such a good idea. I checked Game X Change. They had a 160 gig Classic for $130. That's not bad at all. I don't like the design, but that's a SHIT ton of memory. Think of all the musiccccccccccccccccccccc. I'm going to compare prices at Gamestop this weekend.

I haven't seen my cell phone since last Monday is lab. Imagine if I had a smartphone and hadn't seen it in a more than a week. That would be so stressful!!!

He won't tell us what the class average is, though. So I have no idea where I stand in comparison to my peers. I have a feeling that I'm just slightly below the average, though. But even if I'm slightly below average on my fellow chemists' standards, I would be mildly ok with that.

16, but I could have got 32. Either way, it has a mini SD card slot, and they make them up to 2 TB. A 32 GB card is like $20. But I use Spotify Premium, so I have no use for TOO much space, even though I've downloaded a lot of my playlists so I don't have to stream when I'm away from home. Either way, the radio portion of it is free.
