MGS games always start really slow... then bosses appear, the story f@cks your mind and BAM! you have a great game.

I never owned a GameCube, but I did play Melee. It was fun, but I guess it's aimed more for a multiplayer experience. I never played the Zeldas you mentioned, but I've heard they are great.

You never heard of Phoenix Wright?


Everyone has heard of him, or at least know the guy. It's a... graphic adventure game? It's loads of fun. It has great stories, great characters, has great jokes, and actually makes you think lol.

I played the trilogy in a Advance/DS emulator (I still gotta play the 4th game, but I can't emulate it perfectly).

I've only ever heard good things about the Metal Gear games. And if Snake's bad ass enough to make it onto the Super Smash roster without even being Nintendo... then I already know the games must be gold. Hearing you talk about it makes me really want to pursue playing it again though. If only I had the right console and didn't have a stack of other games I've blown money on and haven't touched yet.

You're right. Melee and Brawl are GREAT games when you're alone. But nothing beats playing it with a couple of other experienced players. There possibilities of the situations you can get yourself into during a brawl are endless. They're often hilarious, too. XD Melee is one of the games I played the most when I was younger, before I had consoles of my own. I would go to my neighbor's house and we would literally play it for hours. That, and Tony Hawk and Harvest Moon. Good ol' Gamecube days.

No, I really haven't heard of it. Or if I have, it's already escaped my mind. Oh! Haha. That guy from the picture is him. It's amazing what a few seconds of Google can do for you. I've seen him yelling OBJECTION on this forum before, but I didn't know who he was before now.

I've never even touched a Sega before. I've played Atari before, but it wasn't long before it broke and I had to find some other way to entertain myself at my Nana's house. So no Sonic for me.
I wonder why Megaman has never been on Super Smash Brothers? I've never touched the game, but it's apparently a classic and people love it.

Mario 3... I played a handful of Mario games in my childhood, but it wasn't for long and I didn't learn the names of any of them.
I've played a FEW games on the Playstation. I played Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets pretty extensively as well as some X Men. That was an awesome game fosho.

Which game was that? An early one? Or the one we're talking about? I already forgot

And Metal Gear is among my favorite game franchises.

It will include all of the MGS games plus two digital graphic novels and a 100-page artbook. The best part is it is only for $50

Most Nintendo franchises I guess. The first several Splinter Cell games were great. The first nine Final Fantasy's, Seiken Densetsu, anything old school really.

Well, you can always download epsxe and play the first one (the best one IMO). Megaman was never in a Smash Bros because... well nintendo doesn't own the rights and he isn't as big as he was before. He was in marvel vs capcom 1 and 2, but didn't make it to 3 (even if he and Cap Commando are the biggest mascosts in Capcom) because he was a boring character to play and everyone would spam shoots (lame excuse, he has way more to offer). Megaman X is just too good as a game, you should try it... some day lol.

You have a Gamecube. You might be able to find a copy of MGS: The Twin Snakes, which is a remake of the first MGS game, but with the mechanics of MGS2 (first person view is optional when using weapons).

Maybe if I get a new computer in the future. To be honest, my laptop is kind of old and it runs pretty slow these days. I think an emulator or something like that would run it down hard. I think playing console games on the computer feels a little weird, too. Maybe if I had one of those controllers that have a USB cable or something. They actually sell them on ThinkGeek. But again, my computer is pretty old and crickidy.

If you want to know the cold, hard truth, I'm complete shit when it comes to side scrollers. I have rarely rage-quit anything, but side scrollers would have to be the almost universal exception to that. I mean, I'm REALLY bad. I tried playing Super Mario Bros on the GamboyColor and failed miserably. Watching my play the New Super Mario Bros on the Wii was even more laughable. My sister and her boyfriend would constantly yell at me to "JUST STAY IN YOUR BUBBLE".

I hope you're exaggerating there. That's a shit ton of games. XD Agreed. I think Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was the best Harry Potter game they made (not really counting the Lego ones, I mean the movie games). They went really downhill after that. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I is essentially a first-person shooter... with wands. It completely ignore the idea of magic from the books. The movies do that quite a bit as well.

Those are the only two I've ever played. I bought American Wasteland not too long ago, but I haven't played it yet. Hopefully my GameCube will start working again. I still need to finish so many games on it.

Good ideaaaaaa. I don't think I've seen one at all so far, but that's most likely because I wasn't specifically looking for it. GameStop doesn't sell Gamecube ones anymore, but I can always keep checking at Game X Change.
