Princess? ...just saying it's not the same type of thing. It isn't an open world, it's a team battle game, where each person has different roles and skills and you try to destroy their base. It's like a classic Tower Defense kind of game, but with way more depth to it.

Oh, so it's similar to an MMORPG, but there is not open world. I guess it's a little bit like a Party Quest then. Can't say I've ever played any MOBA or ARTS games. Not sure if it would really be my thing though. One of the reasons I used to play online games was for the open world. I kind of liked that aspect. I've never seen any LoL, but I've seen a bit of DotA and I've heard they're at least sort of similar.

I know, wrong? How the HELL am I ever supposed to fulfill my life's goal of completing all Zelda games when Zelda II is a side scroller??? I'm so fucked, Hardy. ;~;

I actually bought that one for the Gamecube, but still haven't even started it. I think it had multiplayer capabilities and that's why I grabbed it. Also, it was like $3. I wanted to play it with my little sister. But it's been almost a year since that time so I'm unsure if it'll ever happen. Good to know that I'm not missing much there though.

Everyone hates Zelda 2 so you're not missing anything lol.

And HP4 was kinda cool to play in cooperative (the tournament's challgenes are single player though) just because you can troll a lot, but after a while it gets kinda boring and you feel like killing the dumbass that is trolling you instead of playing

You're lucky to have a still working NES and all. I have to get all of my shit on virtual consoles. They're really nice and everything, but it's not as nostalgic.


Sometimes I wonder what that game is all about. It seems like a lot of members are into it. Do you play that too, Nii-chan?

Well you should never give away your old consoles though I guess you could always buy one, they can't be that expensive.

Well it's a game about opposing groups. You're in a team of five and you have to fight your way through the enemy and some towers (which are pretty strong at first but can easily be destroyed later on). Obviously you can choose between different heroes who all have their own unique powers. Your goal is to destroy the enemy base. Usually takes about 25 to 45 minutes. It's a very simplistic description but I think you get the gist.
And gary is right, I'm playing it too. Way less than all the MH nerds but sometimes it can be really fun.

Does he not trash you while talking to other people?

Are we speaking from experience here? I've had subtle hints of yaoi in my thread before, but none as of late.

Once while playing the Chamber of Secrets, I trolled so hard that the game glitched out. I was running around, cursing the CPU students (while screaming I AM THE HEIR OF SLYTHERIN) when a group of the students sort of stood by me next to a wall and I couldn't get around them. Had to restart the game without a save. XD;;

My first summer on MangaHelpers was a summer without classes or a job. It was miserable. Also, I'm not taking nearly enough courses during the fall and spring to justify taking a summer off. I only took two classes (with a lab) last semester. So I'm taking two classes in the summer to make up for it. I plan on utilizing my time in the summers until I've completed my degree. I don't see the advantage of doing otherwise.

Speaking of which, guess what we discussed in lecture today.

The abbreviation for Carbon is C.
What valance shell means.



Then guess what we did in lab today.
Reviewed the scientific method.

Seriously, the people who play this game are the worst. It can be incredibly retarded playing by yourself at lower ranks, but if you get friends to play with you the experience is amazing. All weekend myself, scav, Nuno and sometimes Nuno's roommate were playing while on Skype. It's hilariously fun. You don't need skype to have fun though, sometimes it's just nice to flame back if you have people to back you up. This is probably breaking the Summoner's Code, but who gives a shit.

Ah, I have to look... I have 105 hours. But there are still many classes that I need:

Modern Physics
Advanced Synthetic Methods (with lab)
Biochemistry
Physical Chemistry I (with lab)
Physical Chemistry II (with lab)
Seminar in Chemistry
Advanced Inorganic (with lab)
And then two upper level chemistry electives. I will probably decide to do some experimental research.

I think that's somewhere around 25 more hours. Everytime I feel like I'm close, I look at all of the shit I still have left.

It does sound really fun, but...I try to stay away from online gaming. My personality can be addictive in the worst way. I'm always afraid that I'll get consumed by it. I'm enough of a shut-in as it is... I don't need to add an LoL, WoW, DotA, or Starcraft addiction on top of it. Besides, I get enough fun with console games. And play nice, you.

I'm actually taking it this upcoming fall semester. I am so freaking intimidated by it that it's the only class I'm enrolled in at this point... And most likely will stay that way. It's rumored to be the hardest undergraduate class at the university. At least for the chemistry department, that is. I'm sure there are engineer courses that compete with it.

If this class can open my mind, then I'm all for it! Every once in a while, a chemistry class will alter my way of thinking. Paradigm shifts are always for the better when it comes to physics and chemistry.

Last semester, there was a p-chem class just before my IA lecture and the professor would never erase the board. It was literally ALL symbols. It takes mathematics without numbers to an entirely new level. Everything was Greek and symbolic. The formulas and concepts were impossible to decipher without seeing the lecture to go with it... or maybe it's impossible even then. XD

LOL, you need to add more courses I understand that it's hard and all (I've also seen a post P-chem chalkboard, and it wasn't pretty), but you shouldn't use an entire semester's worth of time on it alone IMO. Throw in the seminar or the Modern Physics class.

And yeah, the conceptual parts of P-chem might be really interesting, but the sheer amount of math that probably has to be learned is just a huge turnoff. At least you can find solace in the fact that everyone around you will probably feel just as fucked.

I remember you talking about Diablo with KD and everything. Is that MOBA too? I might be more of a PC gamer if I had the time for it or the computer. I have neither. In biology lab the other day my TA basically told us that we have to bring a lap top to lab. Ugh. My battery doesn't even work and my computer is pretty slow. It's going to be a pain to bring it!

Surprisingly not. My memories from childhood always seem so random and weird. Something that stuck in my mind had no lasting effect on other people. It typically results in these types of situations. I didn't realize how obtuse it was until I tried to search in on Youtube to find it and nothing came up.

I know I should take more than that, but it's almost too late at this point. If I wanted to get into a professor's research team, I should have asked months ago. I would like to take Modern Physics with it, but it's not offered during the same semester. And then the seminar class can't be taken before my p-chems. I'd take biochem with it since that's an easy class, but I'm taking that next summer (it's the only class I have left that's offered in the summer), so it would be unneeded extra baggage. I could take other classes if I really tried, but I don't think it's wise or worth it. Might as well just take p-chem I, the lab, and work a lot of hours. If I have extra time I can use it towards brushing up on o-chem for advanced synth.
