I'll nominate Edo Tensei because it is one of the most broken abilities in Anime history.

It doesn't get cancelled when the summoner dies, the revived person has unlimited Chakra, the summoner can control them in every way he wants.
Pretty hard to beat such a hax ability.

The Gate of Babylon: King's Treasure is a dark red, key-shaped shortsword that connects to the "Golden Capital", the treasury of Gilgamesh, allowing the user to easily access its contents. It connects the space of reality to the vault, opening an "invisible door" that allows for the contents to pass through upon the user's command. The items that pass through the gate form ripples in the empty air as they appear. They can be summoned anywhere, either directly to the users hands or anywhere in the direct vicinity. The rank changes from E to A++ due to reflecting on the ranks of the various contents of the treasury, and it is also once referred to as an EX ranked Noble Phantasm during Fate/Zero due to containing Ea. The Gate becomes more powerful as the wealth of the owner increases, but if the treasury does not contain a wealth of valuables, then it will not be a useful Noble Phantasm.

This isn't exactly about the character but about the ability related to a character. It would be a good thing if you guys name the ability and explain it, while saying which character/series it's related to, not simply saying the characters name (especially in Gilgamesh's case, because in a sense he has more than one ability )

I have absolutely no problem with the Death Note as a nomination because that is the ability. Yes this is a character showdown but an ability can't be used on its own. The DN can't kill. That is exactly why the Death Note is a legit choice.

The initiation condition for the hypnosis is to show the enemy the release of Kyōka Suigetsu. After seeing it just once, this person will completely succumb to the hypnosis.

Okay, time to nominate an ability appearing in various animes and mangas, you must be pretty much familiar with it, a few characters have this ability which seems almost exclusive to the domain of japanimation, Araragi Koyomi (monogatari), Raku Ichijou (Nisekoi), Touma (To aru...),Kimihito Kurusu (Monster Musume...), and lots of others can be added to the list, be it in Shonen, Shojo, Seinen, Action, Fantasy, Ecchi thingies, Surnatural, slife of life, in any manga you may meet one at a certain point. The most OP ability which no one will never have in real life, the ability to create a harem while staying natural. This isn't a character trait because it doesn't define how they behave, but what results of their actions, therefore an innate ability.

Because it's funnier for a general ability to win than having a truly op ability win. I mean I would prefer "natural harem king" over a death note, at least it won't hurt anyone.
