[Wowzers]

How... just how is that possible? Please teach me, Wowzers-senpai.

I keep an Excel spreadsheet with listings of shows, where I watch them, first impressions and personal ratings... including a checklist of what I've watched that week. If I miss more than a couple of days without watching, it's tough to catch up.

When I get home I'll post a copy of my checklist.

I dropped a lot this week… most of what I dropped wasn't really bad, but I lacked interest in continuing when I still have many other series to watch.

That's exactly the point I was trying to make, but Wowzers seems to have misunderstood me. I'm currently having free time 24/7 and I can't possibly imagine how the hell I could follow - FORGET ABOUT 38 - 18 f* series. xD It would require +72h days for me to pull this off. Kudos to you Wowzers!

Aren't you watching 10 anime this season? Quite a lot are airing the weekend too, Saturday especially . You just need to add 8 more.

And I have binge-watched a couple of series the past 1-2 weeks on top of it. But again, I was and still am on free time 24/7. Those 10 series this season are also an exception for me and I already considered to drop some, but it's quite difficult since this is a rather good season. Don't know how this will play out for me starting next week though. I'm truly amazed.

Well, here's that checklist I said I'd post.... I almost posted the entire spreadsheet, but it contains some stuff I probably shouldn't post.

18 sounds like a lot, but it's do-able. So long as you don't get behind much.
which reminds me, I haven't watched any of this weeks stuff yet.

Well, to be honest, 9 of the 20 drops happened after 1 episode... or less if I just couldn't stand it.

Mahutsukai No Yome seems to be the hit of this season.

3-gatsu no Lion:
Sixty seconds into this episode and my heart already got shattered into billion and billion of pieces. This is neither a metaphor nor an exaggeration. This episode had Shigatsu level of feels, a perfect episode! Kudos to Hina-chan for her bravery and Rei for taking care of her asap. There exists no rating scale which would do justice to this episode.

Inuyashiki:
Oh god, I just love how they portray Inuyashiki. The way he fights, moves, acts, it’s so authentic. And when he stomped the shit out of the whole mafia gang, brilliant!

Mahoutsukai no Yome:
I remember the time when niichan and I talked/dreamt about an anime adaption of the Mahou manga series, and I showed some concerns because I was of the opinion that it would be extremely difficult for an anime adaption to live up to the magnificence of the manga series. Now, here we are. Do I need to add anything more?

Spoiler: Other series I watched

Fate/Apocrypha:
Well, compared to the last couple of mediocre episodes, this one was rather good.

Garo Vanishing Line:
Okay episode. Sophie looked very cute. Poor Sword.

Just Because:
Too much Morikawa and Natsume, too less Komiya. Average.

Juuni Taisen:
This episode would have worked much better, if they hadn’t changed the scenes countless times. Loved the bits with Hyuuga Monkey vs. Rabbit, especially their short clash at the beginning was awesome. The music was top!

Kekkai Sensen:
Hah! Badass Gilbert was badass! Super episode!

Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau:
Ehhh, what kind of pathetic idiots are those Elders? Like wtf is that reasoning? The scene with Chakuro and Sami was adorable though. Looks like there is much more to Neri than it appears, especially after the end of this episode. I hope they don’t skip the fight between Ouni and Shuan. Really like this show!

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou:
Guess, it’s too much to ask for a proper plot at this point. Charming as this series is, it had more potential in my opinion.

I liked this week's Juuni Taisen and Dies Irae more than usual. Dies Irae especially. But four episodes stood out to me this week.

Ballroom e Youkoso: The Tatara x Chinatsu tension, comedy, hype form the competition and the last minutes . All of this along with the great OST made this episode pretty entertaining . Chinatsu is very charismatic.

Mahoutsukai no Yome: My favorite episode so far.

The two others are 3gatsu and Houseki no Kuni. The latter is becoming quite interesting and I liked the various developments more so Houseki no Kuni gets my vote.

Kekkai Sensen and Altair were also pretty good. Inuyashiki was good but I preferred the previous episode. Vanishing Line's pacing is reminding me of HnK, we are getting closer to the main plot. UQ Holder suffers from the fast pacing.

I am getting used to these busy Saturdays. The fact that most of the series are above average also helps. I watch 2-3 episodes then I drink some tea or eat dinner while watching the others. This is quite pleasing . Two Car is the only Saturday series I follow which is average. I watch it Sunday or at a later date.

Send the island into the sand and have everyone die like that, that is quite a harsh command to give to someone.

Chakuro learning to use Thymia will be very helpful.

That was quite the power Nelli has showing all those visions.

That was great by Masoo, he defeated those guards quite easily.

Poor Ginshu, they ditched her after she did all the dirty work for them lol.

Nelli again at the end, looking forward to next episode to see what happens next.

It's always so satisfying to watch bad people get what they deserve.

Houseki no Kuni EP 5

I was fearing the worst for both snails when the Lunarians were attacking them both but that brother is very strong.

We also nice to him to get that material that would later become new legs for Phos.

Cinnabar will probably join forces with Phos eventually.

What an upgrade those new legs are for Phos.

Now to wait until next episode to see how they operate in that battle if Phos actually has to do anything, the master might wipe them all out and Bort looks ready to rumble as always.
