Anime League Anime League - Fall 2020

[Jammin]

I'll go with.

Danmachi Lili is the MVP so far.
Jujutsu Kaisen Kinda hate this emo kid, still a good adaptation though.
Fire Force Great Tamaki episode, now I just need that great Maki episode I've always wanted.

[Gajeel]

Jujutsu Kaisen
Nanami showing compassion towards the transformed human was a nice detail
Danmachi
Wiene, nooo
Tonikaku Kawaii
What do you like?
Tsukasa-chan.

[Aurelius]

Fire Force
Jujutsu Kaisen
Haikyuu!!

[Marmalade]

1. Higurashi - Really liked the tone of this episode, it was quite sad (poor Satoko ), but well done.
2. Majo no Tabitabi - Small Fran is so cuuuteee. Also, Sheila is such a fun character. Liked the flashback episode.
3. Tonikaku Kawaii - Don't think this needs explaining haha

[Asako]

I am not sure, if I can still give a nomination, but here goes if it is still being acceptable:

jujutsu kaisen-Nanami is a GOAT.
Highurashi- Loving the series even if I am absolutely lost on what is going on behind the scenes
Akudama Drive: Fantastic visuals, characters and plot.

[Nii]

Jujutsu Kaisen (please don't let Nanami die)
Haikyuu (always love Karasuno going all out )
Higurashi (Satoko... )

[AbrahamOmosun]

Akudama Drive
Jujutsu Kaisen
Haikyuu S4

[Prince of the RL District]

Noblesse

[Jammin]

Jujutsu Kaisen Great adaptation, even though I just do not like this kid at all.
Danmachi Hermes is such a dick.
Fire Force Nooooo! Not him!

[Nii]

Haikyuu (great end to the match, that was intense )
Danmachi (the fight delivered, and that Hermes twist was a genuine surprise)
Jujutsu (that scene with the mother literally made me go "oh shit..." )

[Sky]

Jujutsu Kaisen - Beating up bullies, my favorite sport.
Haikyuu!! - Really intense. Sadly the animation quality wasn't even half as good as the plot.
Tonikaku Kawaii - Pretty much the funniest episode yet... There sure was a lack of Tako at first though.

[Wowzers]

Jujutsu Kaisen - Great as usual
Tonikaku Kawaii - Takopa!
Danmachi - Wiene, very sympathetic... Hermes, not so much

Spoiler: Other great series this week!

Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season - Great first episode… but why this late in the season?
Majo no Tabitabi - Elaina… knows!
Enn Enn no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou - The season is over.
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Raihousha-hen - Visitor arc over... but 2 episodes left?
Noblesse - Frankie vs Rael
Golden Kamui 3rd Season - Shiraishi escapes again!... Sort of.
Akudama Drive - More deaths! This series has been really good! Too bad it's overshadowed by all the other great series this season!

[Aurelius]

Jujutsu Kaisen
Dinner was fun, and then .

Fire Force
If only real life hazing produced such results . Anyways, S2 was a blast, time to pick up the manga.

Attack on Titan
True greatness has returned. Good start by MAPPA. Favorite ED of the season.

[Gajeel]

Jujutsu Kaisen
Mom did nothing wrong
Danmachi
I don't recall the last time I got so speechless/horrified while watching a series. Wiene's scene was truly heartbreaking.
Tonikaku Kawaii
As long as Chitose is in it

Not to forget the return of Shingeki no Kyojin. Good first episode, disappointed with the second one, but it looks promising overall. Next season's going to be a blast with what will get animated, that's for sure.

Attack on Titan
True greatness has returned. Good start by MAPPA. Favorite ED of the season.

Not sure how to deal with this yet but it isn’t eligible for this season. (Lack of episodes.)

Gotcha, will switch to Haikyuu!!
