Anime League Anime League - Summer 2019

[Asako]

Vinland saga
kimestu no yaiba
fire force

[Demonspeed]

1. Vinland Saga.
2. Fruits Basket.
3. Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator.

I wish I could vote for Cop Craft, the content was really good but the production values so bad... Kimetsu was good but I wasn't fan of the pacing.

Why FF? It just started and getting good.

I am a snobbish elitist brat that's why

Okay the real reasons

Arifureta-It's entire existence is a mistake, with horrendous adaptation,in fact even the author himself confirmed it's a bad story,he only writes for lulz

Isekai cheat-Generic show

Fire Force-Extremely bad direction (like pointless shots, scene transition) and bad art but most importantly the plot,i have read 100 chapters and it is one of the most mediocre, boring shounen.

Note this is my opinion you don't have to agree with me.

[Jammin]

I'll vote for..

Danmachi II
Merciless Hestia truly is Bestia.

Enen no Shouboutai
This episode felt almost Kill la Kill-esque with the amount of style it had. Just amazing.

Kimetsu no Yaiba
The way UFOtable applied thier magic to the water of the river alone makes this a must vote.

Don't worry we won't.

Seriously, Juna. That's not bad direction that's stylized direction. If you don't like it you don't like it but what they are doing with the visual style and the way it's cut together is pretty impressive. It's just of a very particular style that you don't see very often outside of like Trigger anime. In my opinion, this is the best looking anime of the season so far. To do that in a season with Kimetsu no Yaiba is insane.

Well that is not my most important complaint, the plot i didn't like.

[Sky]

Going for:

DanMachi
Enen no Shouboutai
Kimetsu no Yaiba

[Nii]

Vinland Saga (the Thors fight was great, and I like how they managed to show that Askeladd has multiple sides to him)
Kimetsu no Yaiba (next week should be great, pretty happy with the adaptation so far)
Fire Force (pretty lame villain tbh, but the animation and execution is top-notch)

[Crescent Jinx]

Kimetsu, for now, only thing watched this week

[Gajeel]

Kimetsu no Yaiba
Vinland Saga
Fire Force

[Wowzers]

This weeks Picks!

Vinland Saga - The pivotal moment has arrived.
Dr. Stone - Shiny monkey
Kimetsu no Yaiba - Cliffhanger!

Spoiler: Other good shows

Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2 - Takagi-san spends her day teasing the one she loves… that's the whole plot. It doesn't need any more.
Uchi no Musume no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou no Taoseru kamo Shirenai - I think it's a good thing Dale didn't show up for that. He might have gotten arrested for what he'd do to those guys
Joshikousei no Mudazukai - Not as crazy as Asobi Asobase but crazy none the less… and I love it.
Danmachi II - Seemed rushed but was fun.

[Asako]

[Demonspeed]

1. Vinland Saga.

I need to watch DanMachi and Dr. Stone before choosing the third one.
