Anime League Anime League - Winter 2020

[Jammin]

Tough voting this week but I'll vote for..

Isekai Quartet
Sebas and Wilhelm discussing love just by itself would place it here.
Fate Grand Order
Gorgon looked way better this time!!
Kyokou Suiri
I'm all in on this romance. All. In.

Honorable mention to Somali and Boku no Hero. Which were both also excellent.

[Asako]

Magireco
madoka magica ep3: mami loses her head
Magireco ep3: close up to mami head at the end of the episode

Coincidence? I think not

Also damn this illustration at the end

aqua being aqua this episode

but man kazuma and ainz description of naofumi is perfect
also I really hope nao filo and raph aren't the only ones that got transported to this world, we need some spice for nao team, bring the other heros + bitch

FGO

ana is too sweet for this world
Also agree that gorgon looks much much better this episode than when she was last shown, kinda glad as I didn't like her previous look

[Sky]

Isekai Quartet - Because this is the only KonoSuba we have at the moment.
Boku no Hero Academia - They managed to make me feel even less emotion for Night Eye. But he is gone now so thumbs up.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T - How many eps until Touma gets more than mere mentions?

[Elusia]

Missed last week >.<
Going with
Somali
Magia Record
Hanako-kun

[Gajeel]

Somali
Anything Somali does is adorable. That alone suffices to put it in the top 3.
Magia Record
Those magical girl transformations were neat. +1 for the JoJo reference during Rena's transformation (8:38) or maybe I'm just going too far
Fate/Grand Order: Babylonia
I know we all love little Ana but the short Kingu vs Quetz was awesome too!

Not sure what to think about BnHA. I didn't really imagine the Overhaul's scene on the highway to be that bland. Been awhile since I read that chapter so that might explain why. Same thing for Nighteye's death.

[Arjuna]

FGO
Isekai Quartet
Railgun

[Wowzers]

This weeks Picks!

Isekai Quartet 2 - Welcome back!
Somali to Mori no Kamisama - Adorable and sad at the same time
Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia - That was kind of mean of Merlin. Anna is great though.

[Aurelius]

Guess I’m going against the grain

My Hero Academia

Black Clover: Wizard King and Nero enter the fray

ID:Invaded: My sleeper of the season. I recommend for those interested in crime thrillers and serial killer mysteries.

[Demonspeed]

1. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T.
2. Kyoukou Suiri.
3. Isekai Quartet 2nd Season.

It seems magiareco need more promotion here
Not enough people watching it voting for it

Look at the top tsundere of magireco rena and how cute she is

And the damn transformation (iroha finally got a proper one after 3 ep of transformation, gotta celebrate it)

And how cute mokyu is (what are you...)

And never forget the girl that will get ahead of herself

I almost cut the pic of her head of... almost

I'll vote for...

Isekai Quartet
Kazuma leading a "heroic" mission.
Fate Grand Order
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse...
Kyokou Suiri
The ex-girlfriend appears!

It was neck and neck between Kyokou Suiri and Somali this week for me.

[Erinyes]

Somali

Dorohedoro

[Nii]

Fate/Grand Order (a bit rushed but they did the Lah'mu justice)
Railgun (about time for some nice Misaka action)
Haikyuu (great character progress, as always)

[Wowzers]

Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia - Aren’t you excited for the future of humanity?

[Sky]

Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia - This is what it looks like, when us weebs leave our basements all at once.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T - Just for my boy Touma.

what the hell are they doing eating with mitama, she going to murder them by food poisoning as she does sth to the food as always, momoka you should warn iroha of how bad her cooking are, it's supposed to be 101 survival advice
look at her

Other than that, look at how cool this frame is, beautiful

UwU

My only complain for this episode is that tsuruno hair is really distracting as someone who played the game, it's not supposed to be that dark but rather light brown
Anyways I'm really glad they adapting at a good pace and not rushing
