WHY KANEKI CAN BEAT ARIMA UNLESS ARIMA HAS A KAGUNE (this is going to be a long one brace yourselfs this is tldr worthy i like reading threads like this so i make them myself... deal with it)
I just read chapter 142 again and I noticed something...
Can we really say arima is waaay stronger than eto?
This fight really did look evenly matched in the manga compared to the anime.
Diddnt even seem like arima had an upper hand tbh it CLEARLY LOOKED EVENLY MATCHED
People say he beat her but all he did was cut a kagune arm.
And we know that don't hurt her because of her God like regeneration and this is. MANGA FACT nothing arima did hurt her. We have even seen her get cut in half. Before and still live so a kakuja arm literally is nothing to her. Also think about it... how can Etos kagune grant noro and kanae unlimited regeneration but she don't have it herself? To say that arima fodderized eto or destroyed eto in this fight is like saying Uta fucked up noro when he stabbed through him. It's simply not the same

I don't think we can really say arima is unbeatable. Eto actually did a better job against arima than she did kaneki #FACTS
Compared to arima kaneki did way better againgst her. You can say she diddnt try thats not really the case... how are you not trying while in full evolved kakuja going berserk screaming about killing him? to me it seems she was testing his strength to see if he was worthy of leaving her kagune for him
And he was capable of handling her full power it's that simple nothing more nothing less... he's the next generation one Eyed king... the same chapter he beat her it was titled two kings
now people will commently use the argument about the part where eto licked his eyeball and how she could have attacked him instead. kaneki was just standing there not attacking as well its not like he had his guard down and could not have attacked too... he just knew she wasnt attacking at that current moment and let her do whatever. if she had shot ukaku shards he would probably dodge it like he dodged everything else but he stopped to see what she was saying/doing then sliced her. she could have avoided getting sliced tho if she never did that but i dont think she cared if she got sliced and half cuz she wanted to leave her little gift for him after he proved he was capable of standing up to he onslaught which only one other person has been able to which was arima. i mean she literally told us her intentions for being there. it was to see WHO IS STRONGER YOU ARE ARIMA?
Kaneki downplayers are going to feel salty come Saturday when he shows he can handle arima perfectly fine. Last time he broke ixa while fighting with one eye stabbed out this time he is way way way way way way stronger and arima said he was good while kaneki was fighting him with one eye. This time he's not going to get his eye stabbed out before the match begins so there won't be any advantage for arima this time. Kaneki already knows that arima goes for the eyes from behind as his first move he even did it to sachi but sachi dodged it and I'm sure kaneki will to its not a suprise this time.
If he broke ixa while fighting with vision in only one eye and a kagune that many many times weaker than his current one and no half kakuha you are delusional if you think he won't be strong enough this time. Not only that arima does not have narukami this time around... not only that we just watched kaneki effortlessly block his quinque with no problem at all..... not only that kaneki has been training with him for 3 years there is zero way he won't recognize fighting patterns kaneki can learn to fight simply from reading books... he recognized tsukiama fighting patterns when fighting him a few chapters ago... kaneki is extremely smart and strategical when fighting you are delusional if u think kaneki does not have any plans on how to deal with arimas attack it's simply out of character for him. Also chapter 73 I'd where kaneki showed us in part 1 exactly how much of a monster you he has become chapter 73 of part one is where the story becomes lit af by kaneki becoming the most badass person in the story... isheda has clearly been setting re up to take the same direction.
another argument i constantly see being made is that kaneki will go berserk and loose from not thinking clearly
but think about it this way....now if he will be able to control himself while in kakuja mode who knows... probably not .... he might go crazy but even if he cant im sure he will be alot more stable than the fight in v14 think about it..... the man had brain guts dripping down his face there is no way he was thinking clearly and still destoryed ixa and managed to scratch him which was never done before that kaneki has been a sss rated ghoul even before he ate eto now he has to be beyond that
i feel like the fight will almost be evenly matched but kaneki will get the upper hand and give arima his first loss and kaneki will be known through out the ghoul world as the one who stood toe to toe with arima and he will most likely become the king after this

scared of him and calling him the black reaper. reaper was a title previously only given to arima until now.
what do you guys think? theory crafting with you guys is always really fun hopefully you guys are nice.... people on reddit were jerks when i posted this there i think i backed up my points pretty well take it easy on me im just theory crafting it can go any way this is just how i see it.
