Discussion Arima's actions and motivations

As a continuation of two separate discussions about Arima prompted by the recent revelations about the character, let's discuss how we interpret his actions and the motives behind them.

I saw a lot of people saying that Tatara kneels to Arima, but to me it looks like he does to Kaneki. He was talking to Kaneki, not Arima.

I do know what I'm talking about. Yes, it was never explicitly stated that it was about pure strength but the thing is that only pure strength could control Arima. Yes, for the rest of the ghouls, CCG was a huge organization but for Arima, he was an insider. He could have killed whomever he wanted and doing so carefully. You make it sound like politics or economy have any power over Arima. Those are means created by humans which can empower one another. But Arima is not a simple human. He was always depicted as a god. They couldn't enslave him had he wanted to revolt. He didn't even have any ties to keep him blackmailed. He could do whatever he wanted. His sole obstacle was Furuta and even him is a questionable threat even for Arima,even more so now that we learned that Eto never really managed to have a draw with Arima but rather he was always letting her go. That being said, Arima just surrendered to his fate because it was the easier thing to do and the more enjoyful. Eto had to rely on his cooperation to change the status quo but it wasm't the same for Arima. He could have forcibly done whatever he wanted. He merely chose not to because he wouldn't find it enjoyful.
