No, i made it in 300x300 but resized it to 150x150 with a software before upload here.

i'm pretty fast, you know lol

Ah, pity that i missed the mecha-drawing competition! But instead of it i successfully finished manga chapter for Shonen Jump manga competition... :d

It could be just the resampling method (bicubic, etc) or even if the image is embeded, rasterized or is a smart object...
My psd files are always double, sometimes triple the size of the final piece... So, I always resize them...
And take care when erasing the background, sometimes you lose precious gray pixels of the outer strokes...

Maybe PMs to the people that usually take part in them, or global announcements? Maybe we could make the contests more visible, even to people that are new around here or that for any other reason don't know about them^^

^^ well,global announcements was how i got to know about the contests.i knew that there was this forum and such but i started dropping by regularly only after i saw the competitions that i could participate in...so,yeah..global announcements for each competition are great in that way...

Ok, it's another voting week that ends...
each artist chose the best images to show us the characters they like, and the winning one made me put "Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki" on my "to watch" list...
