Thank you everyone! Sorry for being late! I am still new to mh, so I am unaware of this thread! I didn't think that I'd won the contest!! The one that I just did is not very up to my expectation. >///<. If possible, I want to redo it! =)

Such art is a signature of life, which in turn gives life to your art. I'm absolutely in love with your choice of colours and the way you've painted them in your more expressive pieces.

I drew and coloured mine in Paint, and fine-tuned the shades in Photoshop.

I almost exclusively use PrismaColor pencils for my coloring. Pretty much anything you see on my dA page (as well as this contest entry) is with Prismas. I used to paint in high school, but rarely pick up a brush nowadays. Although I used a computer to wash my contest entry into black and white, I do everything by hand. c:

I wish I would have tried to learn some digital art in high school. Never got the feel for it.

haha, I'm the opposite, I do almost everything digital (with the original sketch or line art on paper), except for black and white ones, where I use pen and ink or just the pencil... I'm not good with colored pencils...
Your coloring style is really good and so expressive...

I've tried digital art a few times and it's just too difficult for me (even with a tablet). Everything feels so intangible. It seems like you have to have a kinda knack for it. Along with some patience.

Ah, thanks for saying so.

Gotta admit that I was impressed and shocked to see that something that cool-looking could come out of Microsoft Paint.

We should collab sometime.

Collaboration works are great, I would like to have something like that from time to time... but we are getting few participants in each contest, don't know how many pairs we would get then...

Hmm, that may be an option... don't want anyone to think they are at a disadvantage in this kind of contest, though, we would need a genereal agreement in a solo participation, I think...

Also, it's so much fun to do it with a partner

D: I anticipated as much. If you guys really needed it, I would be willing as a medium. Like if you wanted to do a collab theme such as "submit something so Naomidee will color this", I would definitely agree! I will collab with people.

If that makes the theme possible. I just love that sort of theme.

I love the new contest idea! I guess in a way it was overdue to have some kind of art contest related to the Mafia Game. ;P Looking forward to seeing all the creations made for this one. =)
