Oh, yeah, tilt shift is something very specific, but it was something that came from the theme suggestions thread... we had few votes so anyone would make the difference there...
Also, for this one we will have to allow digital manipulation for creating the effect...

Ok, guys, as I said, this is a bonus round! Right now, we'll see how a video category will go.
The purpose of those rounds is to test new categories, in order to see what we could use in the future. This is the first one of 2014 and we have more scheduled for this year.
Since we're experimenting, we're provinding more theme options, plus the opportunity to vote for more than one of them (in case you're between options). Also, you can vote for the "your own suggestion" option, and discuss more video themes in this thread. If people agree with a new suggestion, we'll go with it!
You can also use this moment as a brainstorming session for future category experiments. We can go from handcraft works (like origami pieces) to non-digital paintings and so on!
Just remember that the success of those experiments depends on your contributions. Even if you decide not to take part on the contest, you'll be a great help just by throwing in some new ideas here. We hope you all enjoy this!

These are brilliant ideas, though I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to videos, haven't done anything like those before ^^;

Hmm does music count as art? Music is art right? XD Then I'll suggest some music-making of any kind ^^

Congrats Utsune! I could not meet the deadline.

But this new category is to my liking, I suggested the film thing, but too big to take in, this seems like a mini version of it. Dubbing is good, stand up is the best, animation can be very rewarding, voted for all of those, nice idea Farfy~

I don't really know an animation specific program... I used to do some 2d animation in Adobe Flash, but that's it... so, good question. Anyone knows any program for this?

Actually, for this, it could even be a recorded paper flip animation

Well I will do my best, just have animation and I assume we will have a few entries, thus far in these last few competitions we have have 1 or 2 at best. So something like this can not harm the general idea, it might help us.

i had a really busy week :/ and i had big plans for this topic ,i was planning on doing a scene with toys and stuff .too bad i failed to attend second time
