Ok I'm relieved. Yeah we all have our opinions on the matter. Gotta say I really loved this contest,it's so refreshing from the usual drawing ones which I usually take part in. Not sure why I didn't take part in this kind of contest in the past, maybe because I wasn't that confident in my abilities^^
Whatever the result might be, for me this contest is a success, just looking at the number of submissions, as well as the quality of them.

I was gonna reveal my favourites too..well,we can wait.about the contest,i loved it...all the entries had something to look for and some were really good with imagery.though i didn't agree with faust's critique,it's still cool that he took time to review every poem and put his thoughts out here.thanks again,man.and @ utsune,you might have been right about moon not being obvious enough ...well,you know what i would prefer.

Yes the contest is for fun but constructive criticism and personal opinions are always appreciated (as long as they aren't bashing). Still, these are stuff people do in the spare time so let's not introduce undue negativity. The contest is a huge success though, both in submissions and votes and you guys are the ones that made that happen . Hopefully future ones would turn out the same or even better.

Personally I've always thought it would be nice if no one could vote for themselves in contests like these. Then you have to be sure and choose carefully from among everyone else's submissions.

Yes, I've also had a similar thought in the past but I'm not sure of how possible that is, from the technical side plus I'm not quite sure of the effects of implementing something like that. Some might not be keen on it.

If there's any further interest, maybe we could ask around or have a poll about it somewhere? I'd guess it would have to be on the honour system, pretty much. Or maybe an admin could check? (I suppose you could make votes public but I wouldn't blame people for not wanting that. It's so hard to choose a lot of the time, you don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about you not voting for them, when you may have liked their work just as much.)
