LOL I don't feel let down at all XD The formula to popular appeal is complicated, it's hard to compare some pieces and you guys still had my favorite ones^^

I want your opinions on something else as well, guys. What categories we could run as tests in 2018?
Videos, animations, acting, music writing, music recording - covers, dance, sculptures, ceramics, sewing, other handcrafting fields, canvas painting, fashion, decoration, mosaics, engraving/carving...
Really, whatever you believe that would be nice to be explored here, that others would enjoy as well.
I've been missing some musical experiments, for example xD
Soon we'll return with the Art Contests and start the 2018 cycle!

Ik ik makes more sense if you replicate your own pic xD But say you'll recreate a pic of your sibling, of if you're just the photographer for someone.. there are situations where you can be the author of the pic without it being about your past and present self ^^ (plus, I imagine some people won't wanna post their own pics).
So, as long as you're responsible for the pic by either taking it or being "its model" in charge of the concept, it's all gucci o/
Also everyone!!!!!!!!!!! If you make people who have never participated in any contest before join, you will get bonus point. How much is it? More information will be announced by @Holt

Very impressive submission by Orgz! I love it! It's incredible how accurate the new version is to the original photo! You worked the angles very well and it's a bonus when you can still use the same "props" as before!
"Past, present and future" could also end up being a great theme to consider in the future....
