So many subscriptions. Awesome.

I can understand the slow start to the year though. The photo contest subject was bit demanding, as it required for childhood pics and actual "production work" to stage the situation again.

Poems and particularly sets are quite more approachable. Something you can just do while sitting on your computer as you usually do during free time.

Not saying that the photo theme was anything bad, I actually really liked it! I think there should be both kinda themes, stuff that demand a bit more focusing and themes that are easy access. But maybe start a new contest year from the lighter contests?

You mean it should be better to start with the easiest contest, and then end with the hardests :?bunny

No not really. Just the the first one or two would be from the more approachable ones, to get good momentum for the year. Ease new people into it. Overall it should be balanced through the year imho.

It's not not a big deal though. I mean, look at this amount of entries, maybe easing into it isn't really necessary

Yuuup *-* We have so many entrances! It's prolly a record, yeah.
And a good amount of new people joined us as well^^
I'm quite happy to see that so many of you are enjoying the contests *-* and that others got interested in starting to participate.
Hope you all will stick around!
It also adds to the competition, since getting in new people, taking part in the contest, suggesting themes, and etc, grant points to the Leaderboard^^ so to the ones willing to run for a badge, stay with us longer :clingy
